Here’s what Fulmer should do....

Tennessee has no respect nationally or regionally. It’s not even the best program in the state anymore. It’s effectively dead save for traditions sake, but we are basically heading the way of Army or Navy. Once upon a time renowned as amazing programs, now seen as an afterthought except for traditional sakes. In 2040 no one will think about Tennessee football like we do now (or what we used to think at least).

You do understand that you are repeating the same opinion as dozens of VN members have over the last several years. Not disagreeing, it is what it is.

We’ll keep firing and hiring until some coach gets the momentum going again. Who know it could still be JP.?But only if he can survive JG as QB. I’m not sure what it will take for JP to move on from JG. Eligibility.

Yes, the Vols will be forever irrelevant if things don’t change soon.

Instead of the bargain bin approach, how about hiring a proven commodity. That works a lot more than hiring HS coaches, abusing players, and getting rid of schollys..

It’s already a done deal and irreversible. It happened when Kiffin left and we are just now understanding it today in hindsight.

It was when Kiffin left and we decided to save a few hundred K per year and hire Dooley over Patterson. That was the moment where the admin stopped caring about football.

Naw, it will flip. Army navy and the likes are a different realm. Football Times were much different back in their hay day

Tennessee never was a cream of the crop program (maybe barring Neyland years). Top ten overall....Yah. Resources/interest/spirit are all there in a big way.

Soon the ghost of John ward will echo across the tennesssee river on a Tennessee gameday saying, “it’s time”...and here we go.

Might Be bed time

Clearly the five star football facilities are not helping the team get better. Take them out to the worst local HS field you can think of and see who wants it.

How? No one on this team has any heart amd doesn’t deserve to wear the T. I wish Neyland would’ve chanted at the players today “You’re not fit, you’re not fit, you’re not fit to wear the shirt!” like English soccer fans do when their teams give up like our sorry excuse for a team did.

No one? That's a stretch. There are some that I agree with, but Eric Gray, JG, Trey Smith, Hyatt, Palmer all played hard today.

If you have a 5* kitchen, 4* ingredients, and pay minimum wage for a 1* McDonalds fry cook, the end result wont be that good

If you have a 4* kitchen, 4* ingredients, and a 4* successful chef, the food will taste good

LMAO. We should have hired Kiffiin back when we had the chance. He would have redeemed himself with a second chance at Tennessee. And he knows it.

I hate speller correcter. Kiffin needs to show a 4-5 year progressively successful run at a P5 as a HC before we take a leap of faith. If we’re not “back” by then
