SI: It’s time for Harrison Bailey

I like Maurer, and think he could handle the pressure.
I know he can but some seem to think he’s just meat to throw to dogs so we can protect Bailey. That’s what they did to him last year and he provided a spark that he wasn’t supposed to be capable of. He’s already proved he isn’t no bit*h. In my opinion, it’s Baileys turn if Pruitt feels he can do it without Maurer.

Hints at the possibility. Only ONE sure thing on the roster. 😉
Now THATS true. But I never called him a bust. I was just the first to criticize him and said the fans are setting themselves up for disappointment because he’s not what most think coming in.

The only two quarterbacks I want to see play tomorrow is #15 and #18. Play them both early and ride with the better one in the second half.

We handle disappointment like pros. Set em up!

Don't get all the wait till after the Bama game, if he's the future then he will have to play them next year so might as well get his trial by fire now

Covid isn't Pruitt's fault. Understood.

But it irks me to no end that, after last year, we apparently have gone through 3 weeks of the season without spending any real time getting another QB ready to play.

As if no one could have expected JG to play badly and need to be benched. If Pruitt really thought he was gonna ride JG all the way to a successful season, dude needs to have his head checked out. Coaching malpractice not to have HB or Maurer ready to start a game in some capacity at this point.

Score will be 27-3 the Dirty elephants at half , then we will play Bailey hopefully.
If no Bailey then more of the JG give away.

I don't think JG knows the offense and he's been here for the past 175 years.

Back in Guarantano's RS Sophomore season, a game provided a short respite from the fighting when Generals Longstreet and Burnside allowed their troops to pile into the stands to watch a game against Maryville College. After watching the Fighting Scots defense take up residence in the noggin of the individual taking snaps, both generals decided to spare their troops from a spectacle so ghastly and allowed them to return to the bloody campaign for east Tennessee out of a sense of respect and humanity.

Please not now dont destroy our QB of the future. Play Shourt and Mauer. Save HB for next 5 games after Bama. Start him then, dam. Our future QB can't play in the Bama game. For Christ sakes no!
