"Hey Jeremy, update on the QBs? Who's gonna start this weekend?".

Nope. Nothing. Media just let that elephant roam around the zoom call today.

Obviously, he isn't gonna answer, but it's your job to ask. The media has this weird hesitance to ask good questions with Pruitt. Blake is the only one who ever asks questions that aren't just fluff pieces with non answers.
And if they had asked and he did not answer, there would be people on here complaining about why would they ask that when they knew he wouldn't answer.

I mean we’re not going to argue with them on that. JG has become a turnover machine of epic proportions. I wish it wasn’t so.
It’s just getting old piling on the dude. He comes to the same barbershop I go to, along with some of the linebackers & corners. I’ve had a really awesome opportunity to meet some of them along with a few of the guys from the basketVols team. If they knew a tenth of the venom and sh** that was talked about them on these msg boards they’d roam the streets looking for some of y’all. Good thing they don’t care lol. JG is actually a really nice dude and all, though. He knows where he’s failed but he is still a kid & is human. He bleeds orange and for sure loves the university.

Yep. Blake Toppmeyer is also a cuck who can only ask hack questions that clearly piss off the person they’re interviewing. Pruitt would drag his face across the pavement if he met him in an alley. Blake gets on my nerves worse than any of them. Maybe even Jimmy or Gustavo

Bama and UGA won’t cycle down again short of NCAA sanctions. Maybe when Kirby leaves from UGA, but Bama has a whole state behind it from politicians to bankers, etc.. Plus the SEC office in Birmingham is infested with Bammers.

Bama is here to stay for the foreseeable future barring any major sanctions.
Bama cheats on an industrial scale...and you don't work in sports media in that state if you don't toe the party line...

He’s not wrong and it makes sense. Unless you grew up enjoying it there is little reason to be anything other than a casual fan that might watch a couple games a year, if that.

Our ceiling is not what it was in the 90’s. That era is over and I don’t see it coming back. We are a 8-9 win program with a 10 win season every once in awhile. The last 15 years of management have effectively killed this program from what it once was.
And yet...every single time the program shows even a hint of promise..it magically wakes back up..just like it did in 2015. Neyland was quaking just as hard as ever.

If we can just get over the hump, it will blow your mind. I was in Knoxville when it awakened after the long night of the 70s..it is a sleeping giant.

I'm depressing myself. My daughter cares nothing about this program. She told me the other day she doesn't like Tennessee or football because it makes me miserable. I love the game and this team, I'll never turn my back in it completely but I think her perspective on it really got me thinking. Maybe I need to step back. Not watch anymore. I Purposefully missed the KY game, first one in years. I probably won't watch this weekend either. Too much to do around the farm to waste on a foregone conclusion. But even if I'm working I'll listen, just in case they make a game of it..... And the cycle continues at the lowest low, hope springs eternal.

I hate this, for the fans, the program, the players.
You have to tell her why you love it. Even my two kids who grew up Georgia fans thanks to their cousins love Tennessee also...and yes I know that is weird. My boy is absolutely convinced that Pruitt is going to bring UT back eventually if we leave him alone. He says the only reason Kirby beats him is because of the huge talent disparity and depth if that talent right now.

He says the only thing that will stop Pruitt from having a Dabo like career at UT....is us not having patience.

He was with a bunch of Dawgs at a watch party this year, and it freaked everybody out that it took Kirby three and a half quarters and JG imploding to beat him this time despite having a huge talent disparity. I don't understand how they can see it, but we can't.

Same. I’ll always be a Tenn fan until I die. Memories of going to games when I was kid with my grandfather and growing up in the Knoxville area. I will always love this program.

But this weekend, I’m not going to subject myself to it. I’m just not. Screw the Bammers, gators, and dawgs. Im too emotionally involved to watch us constantly lose to these guys. We aren’t even competitive anymore. It’s depressing and not worth it. The UT management have taken advantage of this fan base and sucked all the fun out of it.

This will be 14 in a row to Bama. SMH. It’s ridiculous.

No matter what the score was at the end...we were competitive against UGA THIS year.

That is nice and all, but being a one man wrecking crew against your own team will do that...sucks but true. I hate it for him too, but dang....quit spotting the other team 14-20 points a game and just be solid.

Bama had a bunch of misses at head coach before"winding up"with Saban.

There's no evidence that says they'll sustain anything when he leaves.

There'll be a window where the new guy will get to coach 2 Saban built teams where there will be an opportunity to sustain.

It's not a guarantee.

If Saban stays too long and the program is declining (Like bobby bowden at FL State), then there will certainly be a good chance of fall off. If he leaves with the cupboard full after another NC, they could keep rolling.

Curious....who replaces Saban? I have been told Dabo would crawl back to tuscaloosa to take the job. No sure if I believe that but it comes from someone who rubs shoulders with some bama bigwigs.

Interested in hearing some other names....

I want to believe that, then I think of GSU, BYU, and KY.

I don't think Dabo would, he's got something good built at Clemson and would be stupid to leave it. Imo with their talent they should be able to get just about any coach they want. I would put my money on the Lane train a good enough coach that should keep them competitive and a dirty son of a gun who won't give a second thought about their cheating ways.

Also, I just thought about this, but 2 of the most successful new coaches are o line coaches. Pittman has made Arky look decent so far and Cristobal has placed Oregon in a good spot. It just goes to show the importance of having a good coach at that position.

Maybe Jimmy hasn't noticed but Florida and Georgia are a bit better than they were in the early Butch years.

Ummmmm.....Florida maybe. Georgia I don’t think so.maybe the same but it’s close.I’d definitely take Georgia’s QB and RB situation back then verses now

CPF was also an OL coach prior to being an OC and head coach.
