If you think about this, it's brilliant. If this is a free year for everyone playing college sports, why not reduce 8 scholarships for next year. Hell, if the team returns in tact, there won't be enough room for 25 scholarships. Go big, reduce 15 scholarships and make everyone think you're doing something good.

Has it been stated what we are doing with the open coaching vacancy? Are they able to temporarily promote a analyst to a on field coach like Chip Long to try to help with the offense?

Surprised you guys aren't calling for Brian M to play QB. He came in and played well against UGA and Miss State last year until he hit his head on the ground. I think his mobility gives our offense an added element that could really open things up for us. I'm hoping to see Brian as the starter this week.
He played terribly. He had more ints than tds. Plus all of his ints were in the redzone and his tds were long bombs. He can't diagnose defenses at all

What communist hell hole do you live in?
I live in an area that is considered a hot spot right now. Our community nursing home has multiple deaths and 80 percent infection of patients and staff. Area hospital with over 100 employee active cases and multiple hospitals with full capacity. A good friend just had funeral for mom and brother who both died of Covid. Community school has closed twice already this school year with multiple cases.

I believe they have gone to extreme, but I understand why they are doing it. I do not like it. If someone tested positive and I was in close contact, I would have preferred them to contact me. I would do the same.

LSU might be in trouble. Apparently self reporting boosters paying players and reducing scholarships by 8. More to come I’m sure.
Someone has to pay severely for the level of cheating that goes on at Bama and Georgia! Since LSU won the NC last year, they must pay the steepest penalty.

BTW, my Covid test was negative

Mauer did have five bad ints, but so what? JG is fifth year senior and he had 8 last year. He's had three already this year. Bad ones. Pick sixes. Multiple fumbles too. Absolute game killers. I can understand an ambitious freshman making mistakes. It's how you learn and grow. If you're still doing after 38 games it's a permanent problem.

He was a true freshmen who probably had limited snaps as Pruitt has talked about giving most reps to the starter and back up. He needed a redshirt year and I am sure they were planning on doing that so he wasn’t ready. But he was forced into action because our other QBs were so awful.

i am watching the 1994 Vols Bama game on ESPN right now and they just benched peyton freaking manning in the second quarter.

I forgot about that.

Replaced him with Brandon Stewart - true freshman.

New OC isn’t changing things. We had receivers open Saturday. 2 can’t read a defense and never will be able to. LOSER!
I love how the idiot armchair coaches like to bitch about how our WRs can't get "separation"...and yet when I watch replays there are guys running wide freaking open on every play...
