And that’s the crux of it. I can’t see how anybody would try to defend Hunter it’s clear he’s a worthless POS. But did daddy use his influence in a quid pro quo to place Hunter in jobs and did Hunter and his dad sell his dad’s influence.

When you look at a worthless unskilled POS like Hunter drawing millions to "work" in a foreign corporation, or a Caroline Kennedy sitting on the Boeing board of directors, then you have to draw a connection to governmental influence. Perhaps there is and perhaps not cash flow between the kids and connected families, but there is certainly influence peddling or the kids would be doing something far different. I'd never accuse us of having the best government money can buy, but we certainly have a bought government - bought by foreign and domestic entities, and that definitely seems counter to sworn oaths of office.

There is no doubt the Joe actually did have conversations with Hunter about his business.

There is doubt whether or not: Joe participated in the proceeds and if Joe took any actions resulting from Hunter's relationships with foreign countries.

Look at it this way. Even if Hunter never passed money to Joe, the corrupt connection meant Joe didn't have to send Hunter a huge allowance. Money not spent is probably more worthwhile than having to earn more to support a bad choice.
