I’ve heard this is true - Pruitt set at least one kid on fire. Fortunately he almost never does that.

Technically it just says he almost never sets them on fire on live stream.

Very well could’ve been many up to this point. I don’t know Pruitt’s affinity level towards arson, none of us do.

I'm afraid the players may have created an issue inadvertently. Not a good look but I think it was innocent enough. May put the issue needed on this staff to go with a youth movement.
To your last point... If that's the case... That's all bad.

He is just like Barnes. If a higher offer came and he felt it was a better opportunity, he would go. Do you really think he wouldn’t bolt if Bama called? Of course he wants to win and show that he is a great head coach, but that does not mean that he has some loyalty to this program.

He’s nothing like Barnes.

UT / Phil gave him his first HC gig, and the SEC no less.

Barnes has coached forever.

If our best player is even advocating for a QB change, we are in trouble.

Guys, it was obvious the moment of the second pick. The players voted with their body language. After the first drive of the second half, the entire team voted even if they didn't mean to. The energy was gone. It doesn't matter who Pruitt wants to be the QB. If none of the rest of the team believe in that person, then the team is doomed to failure. Since so much of recruiting now is peer recruiting, a coach trying to shove a player down the rest of the teams' collective throat is going to damage both performance and recruiting.

I'm not advocating mob rule, but this is not an instance of attempted mob rule. This is a classic example of the emperor being nekid. The team's telling him to put some pants on and he better listen or it will get worse for everyone.
