He knows the amount of pressure HB is under by the fans so he’s trying to downplay HB and his development (or lack there of) for as long as possible IMO.

I mean I think maybe that was Pruitt being Pruitt? No one is as smooth as HB per the limited amount I’ve seen him. Has no hitch in his throw no wasted movements oh and doesn’t five away his snap count.

I'm afraid the players may have created an issue inadvertently. Not a good look but I think it was innocent enough. May push the issue needed on this staff to go with a youth movement.

I think it’s maybe because Ragan took it out of context and that HB is the “silent starter” in the locker room and Toot was just tweeting support for the newly named QB and not tweeting because he wants him to be the starter. I don’t know.

Harrison is probably just trying to avoid drama. He’s a great character kid and I’m sure he wants to keep what he’s built up into that image & all that. Good for him. I seriously hope that he does well. I’ve really liked him since the first time I heard of us pursuing him.

Dobbs had to start as a true freshman vs Bama (injury to Worley and the Nathan Peterman) fiasco and he took some lumps but he survived. Harrison Bailey will be fine whether he starts Saturday or not. It's the rest of the team that may not recover if #2 starts.

Unless, Pruitt convinces them that this is #2's last start and the bye week will be used to get another QB ready for the back half of the season.

If we roll with HB I will be more invested in a possible 3-7 football team than I ever have before. I don’t care if he has bad games. Give him a shot and roll with him. Give him the reassurance you’ve given JG time after time and when he makes mistakes do not pull him. Just let him play and grow no matter how good or bad it gets.
