Backing off Daniels appears to be accurate. Simpson was ours until Saturday. After that fiasco he’s getting crystal balls to Clemson from legit sources.

I'm fine with the backing off Daniels part. I just dont believe it's because of a 22 recruit. Imo Pruitt believed they had fixed JG

I don't know why, but I still believe in Pruitt to right this ship. JG is killing us.

I gave dooley too much credit and was wrong about him. Butch started to lose me in 2015 with the games that got away and in 16 it was obvious it was dobbs and only dobbs making the team go.

Our D is much improved. On O we need to be able to.throw the ball to keep defenses honest. We lost to a very good ga team and ky isn't terrible, but they had us figured out from the very beginning how to shut us down. JG gets that deer and the headlights look and he is done. The rest of the team built off his energy.

For the love of God, please find someone who can make some plays at the qb spot.

Uh every team has had us figured out since Pruitts first year with JG at QB it hasn’t changed..... JG isn’t a good QB and if you just rush the QB and actually get to him, with your guys in zone forcing JG to make either short throws or long throws because the short routes are covered. You have essentially neutralized JG. Because, JG doesn’t do well under pressure and he really doesn’t do well when teams are playing zone.

Not only Banks still at RB.... but I’d love to see what Alontae Taylor could’ve become at WR. With his natural athleticism and physicality I think he could’ve dominated.

As is, he’s an inconsistent CB.

Pruitt saying FU to the fans. He is going to hear it right back. He needs to realize that when the fans check out, you are out the door. I’m going to find better ways to enjoy my Saturdays. Embrace 3-4 wins because it’s coming.

Pretty much. We have a room full of D+ to D- QBs and that is everyone. You could even say we have N number of these D quarterbacks.

Therefore, we have DN.

as much consternation as there is about it, i think this is the basic crux of where we are.

said it after last season ended, that if someone other than JG starts, they will have earned given his rep on the practice field.

and that we should/could feel confident in the guy that was able to unseat him.

then lockdown and we got robbed of our spring QB competition!!! argh.

i still think that plays a HUGE role in this whole thing.

but JG isn't really any different this year than last. and apparently neither are the other QB's.....and that's the problem. you can blame coaching/development or recruiting or loyalty....to me, the reality is our QB situatino was just not very good to start off with, inherting QD and JG. QD didn't work out and left. JG by all rights should have been a more than reasonable guy to transition the position with from 2018 to now....

but he hasn't been and we have not been able to recruit our way of that. HB may be the answer, but clearly he's not this year, at least not right now. and the recruiting portion seems to have picked up with getting Bailey, Salter in the boat and 2 more they're working on pretty hard.....

we just need to find some sort of answer for the here and now. and i don't think we have one.
