The notion that there will be a bunch of JG "slander" implies the fan base at large doesn't know what they are talking about. JGs mistakes are catastrophic and it doesn't take a rocket surgeon to figure out he's a key issue.

He’s the GLARING issue. It’s kinda hard for me to nit pic the other stuff when this guy has continued to be a thorn in the VOLS azz.

The casual vol fan sees it, hell, the whole damn place booed him when trotted back out there. Only reason it wasn’t louder, covid..

Edit: 47 TVs were broke, 67 marriages ended and 109 dogs got kicked on that day... In West TN alone.

College football is not like everyday business.
If I fire a guy today, I can start interviewing and replace him within a few weeks and carry on.

Pruitt is taking on the responsibility because he can't do that mid season and thats the last thing he wanted to do.

I'll stand by my previous take, Pruitt didn't just figure out 4 games in this guy didn't coach the DL the he wanted, theres probably more to it.

Trey is being a good teammate and didn’t say anything negative about fans (unless I missed something). He’s just saying don’t talk sh*t about JG. If that offends you then I don’t know what to tell ya.

Some of y’all have never been on a team and it shows. This is what you do for teammates. Unless they’re like beating up old ladies or something - you defend your teammates to the public. Always. You can have different, difficult, man to man conversations in private.

Never said I know all about it. I do know it was a very public statement BM put out there. I wasn’t trying to act like an insider. Because it’s common knowledge. The “I’ve heard” line smacks of trying to sound in the know...like you caught a rumor or have contacts. Guess what, we all have Twitter and VN...hoss.

Bailey is a legitimate prospect with almost no real college practice thanks to Covid...I can understand why they didn't give him more of what little practice reps they had this offseason..since they really believed they could get just solid play from JG.

This is a good post. Everyone, in college football, knows the best QB is the back up when things aren't going right. JG was the greatest thing going when he helped us win 8 games in a row. HB is probably going to be a really good QB for us but it's just nuts to throw him to the wolves before he's ready. No one planned on his limited practice due to Covid. We have what we have and we just need to work through it. Let JG start at Bama and give the other 3 some snaps during the game. We have an open date after Bama to straighten some things out.

If so, it's criminal no sanctions were brought against Bama. If nothing was done to Bama he should be able to coach here. Otherwise they need to start issuing sanctions if there is a real show cause.

I'll say it again....If that is the way it is, fine. We should get rid of our every year game against Bama though. I don't see a need to get our brains beat in on an annual basis for traditions sake. If the playing field isn't level, there is no point. As it stands, the only fanbase that enjoys this series anymore is Bama, so screw 'em.
