We need a big back or even small to play more snaps. I love gray most of time but a few times he should have got first down by going north and south but he gets wiggle happy and ends up 3rd and 2 two or three times in the game instead of putting head down and it be first down or 3rd and 1/inches. I really like how Small hits the hole.

One thing everyone needs to process is we aren’t doomed. I see a lot of morons on twitter acting like we are back to the end of butch level years. That is beyond stupid. This defense played good enough to win both losses until it was obvious the offense wasn’t going to pull it out. Yesterday would have been 13-7 into late fourth if not pick 6 but really should have been up if we scored first two drives like we should. Run game and OL we’re good enough to win. We ran for 175 yards. Gray had over 100 in first half. We could have Leaned on them if not for the hole Jg dug for us. WRs didn’t get a chance due to QB and Play calling scared. We are a QB away. That is it. We can win a lot of game this year if we can find a qb these kids can rally around. That is Maurer or HB. The other two do not have the swagger or exude confidence around them like these two

Still... So much undisciplined play... Penalties... And "give up" ...Have me... Concerned....

It's not over by any stretch... But this either the being of the end... Or the moment the line gets drawn in the sand.

This year things can change week to week. South Carolina fans were calling for Muschamps head now they are 2-2 and all excited after beating Auburn. Florida st season was doomed then made a Qb change and upset North Carolina. Anyone expecting we are going to win every game isn’t being realistic. If Maurer and HB take the reigns and do what I think they can do we could be riding a high by the time this season is over again

We are decent to good across the interior of the OL, especially on run blocking. Most of this pressure isn't coming up the middle. The 5 start OT's are both hitting a sophomore slump, and we don't have any RB's or TE's who give us anything in pass blocking.

The biggest thing we lost in Tim Jordan was him in pass pro. I've said it all year. He was our best back on 3rd down because he was good at pass pro

With Pruitts reputation as and Elite DB coach I am shocked at our safety play and the fact that we've only signed one truly elite corner

I think it’s what the elite players see that they’d have to play around. I remember playing safety knowing I couldn’t trust my corners half the time to wrap up tackles so I’d have to be almost down in the box to not get ran all over. Made us vulnerable to have it thrown over our head too often but luckily most schools we played couldn’t throw the deep ball

I think from the perspective of being an athlete. The defense fired back everytime until it was obvious the coaches weren’t going to call offensive plays to even try to win. The first two failed drives of second half made it clear they had tucked their tails and so the defense lost hope. The 3rd and 19 draw play down 17 was the white flag from the offense. After that defense energy was gone.

For the record it baffles me to..like I literally have no explanation as to why he thinks something will drastically change of JG within a week. i mean different week same results.expecting a different outcome is literally being labeled insane.

Also doesn’t help our secondary has only had one full game together. One of them is out every game but UGA and Taylor got hurt in that one and it was Shamburger first game. Hard to get continuity there. Apparently it was a group hurt but quarantine particularly McCullough and Burrel missing a lot of time

Yeah. Agreed. Lot of mitigating factors at play, but still no excuse with the right coaching

No trey was telling people how he doesn't want to hear "JG slander" like it's some referendum on the fan base and not the play on the field. It's also coming from the leader of a unit that has been grossly underwhelming and got manhandled two games in a row now.

I don't care about the social justice stuff. I don't combine those two. But his unit has been beaten terribly the last two games and he needs to not address the fans in a negative light. That's horseshit

Oh he was actually defending JG?..wow what trooper that must have been a difficult interview...trey is a Good teammate but he should call it like it is..the team is obviously missing something and it’s a leader on that side of the ball who will win us games...can’t hide it.trey has had his on run in’s with JG bama game being one of them.

we arent doomed this team has a lot of talent. lots of kids playing positions for first time. in a year or two this crop will be good. still yet, pruitt has to develop a QB. That's he and Chaney's resp. Fulmer cant do it for them.

if they cant develop one then cruit one.
