We lost to Kentucky at home for the first time in over two decades. Also, the worst loss to KY ever. That is not being negative, that is facts.

Bitch away then without acknowledging anything positive that has happened..just tear the **** to the ground and start over..and...over ...and over...and over again...we deserve what is about to happen.

I don't really have an issue with JG starting going into Bama. Starting HB is a clear sign that you've thrown in the towel for this season, and Pruitt isn't going to do that in game 5. Clearly HB didn't have enough time/didn't get the opportunity to really get ready to play. That's an area where an accusation of bad coaching can be made.

I don't want HB being thrown to the Bama buzzsaw for his first start. It's not like he lit up Kentucky in garbage time. If we lose as badly, as I'm expecting, then we're at game 6, and the two hardest matchups are done. HB can play all the way through the rest of the season at that point.

I’m pinning on hope that is what will happen. You just can’t send JG back out there.

I think he will do exactly what worked last year.
He’s going to Start JT and in immediately go to JG.

Honestly I can’t blame him for trying what worked well last year

Blamed one pick on the WR not playing fast enough (the long out route) and then the RB on the other for running into JG.

Also just said JG has thrown very little INTs in practice. We need to be more efficient in QB protection. JG didn't play the best game, but neither did a lot of guys. He isn't ready to put JG on the shelf.

He obviously is watching something we aren't. I don't get it.

The first pick was a combination of issues, more than just JG. Not a good call on 3rd and short, but Jordan Rodgers analyzed the play well.

I’m not in the boat of firing Pruitt...but if he starts JG this week I’m at the dock ready to jump on.

If he seriously believes what he just said we are looking for a new coach soon.

We're not gonna show our cards to Bama. Don't expect him to announce a change.
Agreed.

I think you re gonna see both Shrout and Bailey and they will go from there based on how they both look. If you re going to call the rest of the season like you did the second half of the UK game they can put whoever they want back there and its not gonna look much different.

They know they cant do that and be successful so they re going to figure out what the others can do and plan around that going forward.

My Jets have been cooled. They have had 3 classes with their name on it..... not one included a mediocre QB capable of beating our JG. I also don’t care about the COVID missed practices and stuff. Everyone is dealing with that.

Well then you’ve just stuck your head in the sand.

Again, basically 2 classes. Pruitt was hired just before ESD in 2017. We weren’t gonna land a legit QB in that time frame coming off of 4-8.

If you wanna say Maurer was a miss then ok? But he’s been injured and missed practice. Believe it or not, you have to practice to be good at playing.

HB could be the truth. And even tho you don’t care about Covid, it still had a very real impact. A true FR isn’t gonna be able to come in and take over the O while taking so few snaps preseason.

No we don't, and Pruitt is bringing it on himself if he continues to send JG out there. I want Pruitt to succeed as much as anyone, but he is shooting himself in the foot. Are we just supposed to ignore the reality of the situation? As I said before, it's not negativity when it's truth. I don't want to see another coaching change. I've expressed the whys in other posts. But Pruitt is absolutely self-sabotaging himself right now. I'm not sure how anyone can legitimately deny that.

Looks like JP gonna lose his job for the sake of starting a trash qb who gets an unheard of 6th year of eligibility. Fires a Dline coach who's unit was playing well but starts a qb who has more turnovers than TDs the past 2 games.

I think we are looking for a new coach after next season, stay positive pumpers but your coach isn't making the right decisions to keep his job.

Continuing to start JG is a sign we've thrown in the towel IMO.
