I would rather stick first tomorrow. If they score in the 1st it’s off to the races. Would love to get on the board and kill the momentum before they even get a chance.

fair enough. Just thinking along the line of hoping Kyle gives us 5 solid. He gets crushed and it sets us back with our 4/5 starters up in the air and pen usage

Then see who is feeling fresh.

I have faith in Kyle to be solid as long as he has faith in his stuff and is aggressive. If he’s aggressive I think he can be more efficient than 5.

I just typically prefer hitting first, especially if you have a strong stopper.

I’m setting myself up for being up 3-2 w/ max back on full rest for game 6 as a likely scenario and one we would all have taken 2 days ago. Means you obviously play to win but can’t burn everyone out in the process

Him being on the left side of the rubber against all those lefties could be helpful. He seems to be giving lefties fits since he made that move.

Forgot O’Day...you can slot him in for an inning in game 4 if you want Ynoa for just two innings

So his side session should be Thursday right (Game 4)? If we win tomorrow I might tell him to hold on the side session and maybe use him for a couple innings up 3-0 and try to end it

The good news is we can get back to Max being up 2-0. Even if everything goes to **** the next three games we would have Max/Ian for G6/7.
