Putting Tomlin in the game doesn’t bother me in that spot. If there was ever a spot to steal an inning and save the pen, it was right there. If you’re not going to use him right there to mop up, why have him on the roster?

For like 10-2 mop up. Or you’re down 6-0 in the third and just need to eat innings.

We had Webb and Dayton both that would have been better options. But the blame should go on Tomlin because it’s freaking 8-3. Get three outs and lets go.
