My HS had this guy come and perform that swore he was the writer of "American Pie" and how he got screwed. Must of perfomed for the student body evry year. I actually saw reference to it a few weeks ago and looked it up and saw no such thing, of couse this is early 80's.

When I finally got to the levee it was in my Triumph, having moved to Baton Rouge after graduating from UT.

I'm pretty sure there are more Navy SEALS than there ever were. I've actually met some guys who have done some stuff, but generally if it sounds too good to be true ...

The 80's seemed innocent, but heh I was just a kid. Years after graduation everone learned that our 8th grade English teacher was not even a collge grad and got booted. Phillips. Ironically he might of been one of the best as he was not a curmudgeon

I remember I had a big crush on my 4th grade teacher. She was pretty & popular w/all the kids in school.
Everyone seemed to want to be in her class .... I felt lucky to be in her class.
