Why would you credit the qb getting the ball out fast to the oline? A great oline would increase the time to pass as the qb has more time in the pocket.
JG just improved.
Yeah, I’m sure with a few more years in the system, he will get the timing.
And yes, every overthrown ball and ball in the dirt reeked of intentionality and authority.
Brother, JG is not a serviceable QB. We all wish he was. He is a fighter and tough as heck, but just not that good as a QB. If you could beef him up a little, sometimes I think he has a FB heart trapped in a QB frame.
Sure. Anything to not give JG credit for improving.Confidence in your OL allows the QB to focus on the targets downfield and not what's coming at him, plowing thru a suspect OL. He has the advantage of a experienced and talented OL.

He is able thru progressions unlike previous seasons.
And he wasn't the only one. But he also did a better job in several situations, and reacted more like the QB we hoped he was gonna be.No significant errors this week but you have to admit he had a half dozen or more mistakes last week and cost us a lot of points.

We all know that a bad line gives a qb MORE time to throw huh? Not sure about that one.
Waisting your breath dude. Stat boy knows all..Where did I not give him credit? Did I say he he deserves none? No. I stated a majority of it goes to his OL. If you were to probably ask him directly, he'd tell you the same thing.
Then again, you'd probably argue with JG himself if he were to make that statement.
You didn't give him credit when you said the majority of it is because of the line.Where did I not give him credit? Did I say he he deserves none? No. I stated a majority of it goes to his OL. If you were to probably ask him directly, he'd tell you the same thing.

Once again a great line makes your time to throw go up and not down.
Getting rid of the ball quick, just like getting rid of it slow in the past, is 100% JG.
I think back to his commitment video. And there have been so many distractions. And so many oddities, frankly, that a lot of college players don't have to deal with during their college career when they are supposed to be learning and improving.Even last week. He was making good decisions...just throwing it badly way too often. Much better today. Hope he can build on it.
