Honestly, what a great problem to have on the O Line!!!

Just a few years ago we had nothing - literally undersized walk ons playing.

Kennedy starts at Center all year unless he's hurt. Carvin is also just a junior, so his time is coming.

We forget most elite OLs typically have RS upper classmen across the board as their starters. It's promising to think we've got 2 sophomore who are capable of starting full time though. I'm honestly just hoping Cade returns next season like Trey did.

Fall camp use to be the scariest time of the year. You knew if 1 lineman went down the year was over before it started.

Here's the "other guys" the OL has for depth as underclassmen moving forward. Hopefully we get up on some weak teams so we can get them all reps too.

I didn't like 8 called RB rushes in the 1st half vs 21 in the 2nd half, felt like with Ty hitting 6.6 a carry ya coulda had a few more carries in the first half. Based on the fact they checked at the line to the sideline, I don't think JG audibled outta called runs. Just think Chaney fell in love with the pass a bit.

When you have WRs running open on pretty much every play I don't mind it. I think Chaney saw the defense not adjusting so kept signally to throw the ball. JG just has to hit those throws. WRs were so open that the offense should have been good for at least 14 more points in the first half.

UGA had a lot of talent in front of him but shuffling him around was mishandling his career in liquid form. If not for that I doubt he transfers. And (blasphemy alert!) that was on Pittman’s watch.

Absolutely. Plus the days we couldn't really practice because we didnt have enough healthy lineman ton fill out a 2 deep

I like Kennedy but those pressures up the middle that got JG smashed were because he decided to double team with the guard for no reason. Instead of just staying in his spot.

Correction Smith played LT for 1 year and looked just ok there compared to playing Guard. Smith is average at LT but elite at LG.

Trey played both his freshman season. Was struggling at OT sophomore year before the clots reoccurred. His best season (even without practice) was last season with the consistency. That’s what Cade transferred for.

I mean I'm all for Wanya/Wright both just getting better and better as our book ends too.

I just wonder if because we didn't get the full off-season to help develop them more (with how raw Wright was coming in) would this staff play Cade at T if they though it made the unit better? And we all know that answer is yes. But without being in practice or the meetings who knows. They may believe Cade at RG is what makes the OL the best.

The wildcard would be JJ having the ankle injury and losing that depth at T.

I went to the Cocks forum after the game to taste their tears. One thing I saw were posters talking about our DL depth compared to theirs. Someone said we subbed in all the way to our 4th unit. Now I doubt we went that deep, but they said their starting DL was probably more talented than ours and they just got tired. Where we could sub and keep people fresh. I thought that was an interesting and encouraging. Something we couldn’t say a few years ago.
