OL Starter projections?

LT - Cade
LG - Trey
C - Kennedy
RG - Wright
RT - Morris

(maybe if they just want to put the best 5 on the field together?)
you can still do that, but i think cade is RG, Wright is RT and Morris is LT....and we start moving the ball on the ground right up the middle....or we just hammer hte left side and pull cade to the left and dominate.

im ready to see our offensive line impose it's will.....

I was a drug addict for 9 years. I not only was a user but a dealer. I also had a bad Whiskey drinking habit but as God says sin never satisfies and sooner or later you hit the bottom having done everything the world said to do but yet never satisfied until I gave my life to the Lord. From that day on never touched another drink nor drugs He is has been and still is all sufficient for me. One of my dad's famous sayings goes, "I never quit drinking I just changed fountains!)
Powerful testimony

I may be wrong...and this is mostly speculation on my part. But I think a big part of Cade transferring was the chance to play at tackle. Most OLs like having the experience on the outside....I could even see Trey at LT, Cade at RT and the sophomores both playing inside even.

It'll probably just be Cade in for Carvin though, but fun to speculation plus having all these good OL pieces is refreshing!

oh man Ty & Eric both probably got some pep in their steps now!

Also anyone know if Whitehead will be back?
pruitt apparently mentioned him in the press conf yesterday said he was back andd doing well, and was in the grou of guys with Jabari, Tee, and one other kid i can't remember who else he mentioned, that had earned the right to get some playing time, and they want to spread snaps around and keep guys fresh....

so, i took from that, that he is back, and may get some snaps...............................

and I really don't think Cade switches positions this late in his career.

if he does play tackle, i don't know if it will work. he is a guard. an elite one.

He's got 2 years under his belt, and has almost as many starts at tackle in his career as RG. Georgia had him all over the line, I just think he's got more experience than Morris/Wright and usually ya like to bring in new OL guys and teach 'em from inside out.

i don't know about the position talk in regards to that being a part of why he transferred.

he's a more natural guard than he is a tackle, and he's proven to be an NFL prospect at guard.

i'd be a little surprised, not shocked, if they played him at RT. Calbert and Wright should be able to handle that. especially with a Cade Mays next to them. i thnk Wanya is a heckuva player. but it certainly can't hurt to have Trey Smith lined up right next to you to help take some of the pressure off.......

imo, i think calbert and wright are almost interchangeable right now...but left to right it's Morris, smith, kennedy, mays...wright/calbert....

i'm excited about this version of our O line.....

The fun part is, we actually get to find out Saturday! Cannot wait to see the o-line.

Guards are starting to get their due respect in the league. I think he'll be fine with playing at RG opposite Trey. I certainly don't think Trey's stock has been hurt by playing guard.

These are the types of discussions that can only happen with you have depth.

Such a nice change from the past few years.

For anybody who listened to the Kevin Mays interview, I really think it speaks volumes the way he talked about Pruitt at the end of the interview.

Also feel like he was hinting that maybe the same things couldn’t be said about Kirby...
link?

nevermind, I found it.

I didn't like 8 called RB rushes in the 1st half vs 21 in the 2nd half, felt like with Ty hitting 6.6 a carry ya coulda had a few more carries in the first half. Based on the fact they checked at the line to the sideline, I don't think JG audibled outta called runs. Just think Chaney fell in love with the pass a bit.

I agree. I would of liked to seen us rush more, but when they stack the box Chaney will check to a pass. That’s just what OC’s do. That’s how defenses are going to play JG until until he shows them that he can consistently complete passes and improve his accuracy. People complain about Chaney calling a 15-20 yard route on 3rd and 2 or 3 yards in that game, but I’m sure there were check downs and WR’s running intermediate routes and JG just threw it further down the field. Most of this time it was the correct read and the WR was open and he just missed them.

edit:
@jakez4ut beat me to it.

I really like Kennedy, but do any of you think we'd be better with Carvin at center?
LT Morris/Johnson
LG Smith
C Carvin
RG Mays
RT Wright/Calbert
I think Kennedy's experience makes him better suited. Bringing in someone else at this point is begging for snap problems IMO,
