Anyone seen The King of Staten Island? Action Bronson had one of the most unexpected and wonderful parts of the movie. Guy is just naturally comedic, same as in his Viceland shows.

Overall, really liked it. For anyone that has lost their father or been a bit lost in their younger years, it hits home hard. Typical Apatow movie, very funny, albeit in some pretty dark ways.

Semi true story - Pete Davidson's father was one of the firefighters that died on 9/11 saving people in the towers. And if you notice a lot of Kid Cudi music, he atttribute his music to saving his life. Love or hate Davidson, he's as genuine and open as any modern comedian there is, which I think makes him even more relatable and likable. Though he can border on annoying times.

I found it better than most Pete Davidson movies such as Big Time Adolescence. Comedians use their past and real life experiences for motivation, but I hope this movie is the last piece that solely focuses on him trying to come to age and find his way without his dad. I would like to see him try some other things. I thought Bill Burr was also good in the movie.

I documented it yesterday. I know it's not easy. But with a QB like JG, I am not a fan of a 15 yard pass on 3rd and 2 or a pass across the hashes (20 yards) on 3rd and 3. JG also tried a 35 yard pass down field to Keyton on 3rd and 6. Don't know if that was the correct decision or not. Just move the sticks.

The one rollout that was called, JG missed Keyton, so that's on him.

Agree. It’s so frustrating to watch the offense go stagnant so many times. I especially hate when we make it to the red zone and then throw three incomplete passes 🤨.

I also miss the days where it’s 3rd and three, and everyone on the field knows we’re going to run it, and we run it anyway because they just can’t stop us.

I really wish JG could put it together in his head, but I’m not overly confident that he can. I e not given up, but I really liked the excitement and confidence of Maurer and Shrout, and would love the chance to see Bailey. im Not trying to be mean, but I keep thinking they can’t do much worse, can they?

Running the jet sweep too often is like having tacos every Tuesday for a year. Very predictable and not so tasty.
it worked great for us except the one time on the last possession. That was a poor play call. BUT the jet sweep all game set up that toss sweep perfectly. WR came in motion, but instead of a jet sweep he laid a crack back block (didn't really lay a good block, but it worked great regardless).

For those disappointed in our line

And VS a talentless 2 deep DL:

5* 99.5 - DE Pickens
5* 99.5 DE - FR Burch
4* 94.0 JR - DT Sandidge
4* 90.6 JR - DE Enagbare
4* 90.0 FR - DE Hemingway
3* 88.0 RS-SR - DT Thomas
3* 87.8 SR - DE Sterling
3* 87.0 RS-SR - DT Ellis

Since the season doesn't count against eligibility, not sure why HB would sit if he can outplay Maurer and Shrout or even JG.
Big if when everything we've heard says Shrout is the clear #2.

What really sucks is we have no FCS/G5s to just run the entire QB room out there. Mizzou, Ark, and Vandy are the only decent shots at getting down to QB3/4 it would seem.

I actually didnt know USC had a 5* on the roster.

Again...it's the exact same song. Chord progressions do not change just because different groups use different instruments and change the tempo. It is still the Black Sails theme song. If I record a version of Comfortably Numb, and I rearrange it and play it in a vintage swing band style with brass and maybe even a string section, it is still Comfortably Numb, and I would still have to credit the actual songwriter on the album credits, because rearrange it all I want, it is still the same song.

It is exciting that every game counts, but we didn't even get a spring game--the cupcakes are where you get to see the quarterbacks.

With all the post game back and forth, it will be interesting to see if there is a sharp upward curve in our play now that we have a game under our belt. This week the good, the bad, and the ugly will be pointed out in the film room and drilled in practice... adjustments will be made, praise will be given where merited, and cursing should be given where merited... I would like to see our team tightened up and sharper this weekend. I'm just going to say that if several of our drives weren't stalled on offense and adjustments were made sooner against one opposing player running the slant over and over keeping drives alive on our defense, we would have finished the game up by at least 3 TD's...
This second game will tell us A LOT about this team and this staff... (** taking into consideration whether Trey is able to play/be 100%, and if by some miracle Cade is cleared)

Well, when has JG really made excuses though? Dude always seems to take ownership, short of some media related narratives, his dad mouthing off or fans putting words in his mouth I can't recall anything HE said that I thought was making an excuse.
Yeah, he said that he had to fix his overthrowing problem. And I'm not a Guarantano apologist by any stretch of the imagination. He has plenty of foibles that are real, so there's no reason to attack his character on imagined issues.

Can't stand him for mocking Dan Crenshaw. He's actuaally lucky Crenshaw has more integrity than he does. Considering his father was a first responder, rather surprising he would mock a former Navy Seal's eyepatch, but he apparently thought it woud get some laughs, which I guess in his world trumps integrity.
