I may just do that! Thank you so much, metal!
I would if I were you. I know collectibles values flux a lot but I would talk to someone in the know of current value you might want to hang on to some of them for a couple more years. Could make a significant swing back up or continue to crash... hell I don’t know what I’d do but I am jealous.

7 straight wins? One of the best defenses we’ve had in a decade? 😂 literally rebuilt at team that went 0-8 in the SEC prior to him getting here and completely changed the culture just to name a few things.

Idk man. Georgia will be the first real test on this win streak we're on. A few decent wins mixed in but nothing elite. I'll be all in if he were to beat Florida this year. I'll still feel really good about him and the direction we're headed if he at least doesn't completely crap the bed for the 3rd year in a row against Florida. He needs to prove he can show up/win meaningful games.

VQ all think JG improves this year. His issues are mechanical and easily fixable. Boys, all we need from him is to hit our wide open targets. That’s it. He does that, we can win a lot of ball games

this is good and bad. Good that the issues are mechanical and can be fixed. Bad because we all know they aren't going to be fixed or they would have fixed them already over the past 4 years.

I'm sure the coaching carousel at OC during JG's career here didn't help with his mechanics.

If JG hit a few of those over throws yesterday we put up 50 on SC. We weren’t even running our “full offensive or defensive” scheme. We had starters out..... we are going to be hard to stop this year. Period.

It’s really time to start losing faith in these foolish coaches that can’t see what we all know here

The quote came from VQ, not the coaches... But I'd love to be proved wrong and see him actually get his mechanics fixed... it would be something to see if after four years, all of a sudden he just "gets it"...

But it’s year 5. Why hasn’t he fixed them yet?

Maybe because this is the first season he is going into with the same OC as last season, would be my guess, and that he and the receivers were limited in working together in camp thiis year, not to mention no spring ball. But I think what VQ was likely referring to was his history has been more his mental errors overshadowing any mechanical errors he might have been making, not making decisions quickly enough, making the wrong decisions, not being able to anticipate his receivers, etc. Against SC he was making good decisions, he anticipated his receivers (he hit Palmer in stride in the EZ), he found his hot reads, etc. His big problems against SC was mainly he was throwing high, which could either be nerves and/or his mechanics.

Can he be fixed? I have no idea. I don't know if the poor mechanics were a one game issue due to limited practice work with his receivers, or if the smart decision making was a one game anomaly. But since he is aparently right now the most game ready QB we have (thanks, COVID), we have to hope the mechanics will be fixed and that the smart decisions are the new norm.

Honestly, if JG was on target with 2-4 more balls, we might have put up 40. He doesn’t have to get that much better imo. What was more important to me was that we had receivers wide ass open. If Jarrett dials it in just 5% we will thump all the teams we’re supposed to beat, and could hang around with the big boys.

His mechanics don’t worry me in the least. He’s never going to be Joe Burrow and that’s ok.

Fix between the ears and we got a 6-8 game winner this season and game 1 was a huge step forward in showing that has improved greatly

It's been said as the country was settled that the first thing the English would build was a church, the Germans built a barn and the Scots a still.

That was the moneymaker at time time. It was easier to turn your perishable crops into liquor, which was not perishble and so could be transported longer distances in a time when wagon travel was the main conveyance for getting products to market for farmers, unless you were fortunate enough to have gotten some land along a waterway that would get you to market. Many, many early farmers in the colonies turned their corn crops into whiskey to sell; it was really the only way to expand your crops beyond what you needed for your family in order to make some profit to purchase goods.

I think it is funny. This is what we would have done with the Vol Navy if he had been our coach. I was just going to have fun with his teams and not take it so seriously. He has started great at MSU. Hope he does way better than DM.

Oh, we would have had him dressed like Captain Jack Sparrow and the production value would have been off the charts. I was just referring to how awkward and forced it was.

I forgot how much these brain piercing nose swabs suck 🙄😬

Outside of a couple plays, the receivers looked surprisingly good. I thought we would struggle there early.

Probably true, but at some point JG needs to take ownership of the situation and hit WIDE OPEN RECEIVERS. Vols should have defeated little SC by 3 touchdowns. Great players make plays. Poor players make excuses.
