My stepmom is very sick with Covid and double pneumonia, and my 76 year old dad with a bad heart and diabetes is showing symptoms and got tested today but has no results.

They didn’t necessarily get a lot of collective practice time together. Hard to expect too much from them. Something I had a tough time getting my dad to understand this weekend. The whole team really just hasn’t had enough time to gel. If this had been a typical offseason, I truly believe that SC game would’ve looked much different. Like 20 points different.

One person being on target would have made that much difference

Ever have one of those nights where lack of sleep finally catches up to you and you literally go into a sleep coma, filled with weird ass dreams, and wake up groggy as hell the next day, feeling completely out of touch with reality? Oof... I've been up like 30-45 minutes, and still feel completely out of it.

VQ all think JG improves this year. His issues are mechanical and easily fixable. Boys, all we need from him is to hit our wide open targets. That’s it. He does that, we can win a lot of ball games

I think if you see him miss 3 or 4 open throws in the first half we are going to see other QBs get snaps. We did have receivers running open against USCjr. They have talent at DB that returned from last year so I don't know how to look at that.

A guy hit me up and offered $800 for the mantles, reprint set, and the sets of cards I posted. Doesn’t include a lot of the other sets of stuff I have.

I would do this first. I would call Nate at Grand Slam Collectables in Murfreesboro Tn. Or take a ride this weekend and go see them. They also have a show on FB. They are the absolute best I have ever encountered. They know their Sh*t and are very honest folks.
You need to get a exact estimate on what your cards are worth instead of potentially losing money.

Also, they are Beckett Certified.

at the risk of starting someting i don't want to...i agree.

the biggest factor for him Saturday night was he didn't turn the ball over. the bad news about the over throws was that ourWR had no chance to catch the ball.

the good news...neither did anyone else.

ande he did complete a swing pass....though i think we tried to drop it lol.

i need to see more from JG. he does need to start making the connection on the down field throws, he needs to be on time with the delivery, and he needs to quit sailing the ball.

if he can improve there, then he goes from what looks like a serviceable qb presently to a pretty damn good one.

i'll put it this way, what JG was able to do Saturda night wasn't bad at all. in essence, he had a "good" game statisically. the issue is what he didn't do....which is what kept the game from being a comfortabel 2+ score win, and provided USCe the opportunity to possibly steal the game late.. they took the ball out of his hands at the most critical time of the game, and were willing to put the game in the ST and Defense's hands. that told me something, at least for that game.

plenty of time to change that perception or narrative tho.... i hope he does, i'm rooting for him. i respect the heck of the kid as a competitor and a tough guy. i just wish he could have a redemption type season and go out with a bang.....win some big games, go to a great bowl game....and change the story on what has been his career so far at UT.

Depending on those Mantles that $800 offer is probably extremely low. That reprint box is $350-$400+ itself.

7 straight wins? One of the best defenses we’ve had in a decade? literally rebuilt a team that went 0-8 in the SEC prior to him getting here and completely changed the culture just to name a few things.

I’ve been into Cards since I was a kid and I’ve dealt with Nate for years. His FB show is pretty damn cool too and he does a lot for kids that are getting into cards.

I would give him a shout and see if he’s going to be there this weekend then load up all those beauty’s and go see him. He will probably try and buy them all also lol
