Glad we left with a win last night. Surprised with our receivers I think they did a good job. JG has got to make those 3rd down throws to keep our drive alive. I think if he would have delivered a few of those third down passes accurately we wouldn’t have been so nervous in the second half. If we want beat teams like Georgia, Auburn, and Texas a&m this year he’s got to get that fixed.

Very important--- are we going to hear anything official on Cade this week? Is he going to be able to play or not? I truly believe if we can get Cade, that will be the missing piece to being able to run on just about anyone...
I thought Thursday would be the last day they would hold out without making a decision. So who knows.

My eternal complaint about rankings is that they’re front-loaded on speculation. They start with a speculative pre-season ranking as a basis and each week’s wins and losses determine how much each team moves up or down relative to their previous spot.

I wish all the poll participants could take a magic amnesia pill each week that selectively erased all previous rankings from their mind and then rank each team fresh, based on the body of work to date and further informed knowledge of personnel, program, etc. Is that too much to ask?

I wish they would not make a poll until week 3.

Not sure what people thought of our rushing attack, but we were 1 of only 3 teams in the league to finish with over 4 YPC yesterday and vs a pretty talented DL too.

I'm sure a lot of OLs are still trying to "gel", but it felt like ours was decently halfway there already, which is good news with UGA right around the corner.

My daughter (the dancer) called me in a panic because she couldn’t get the tv to work downstairs. My wife and her friends were having a girls’ weekend at our lake house. They all went to Texas A&M. They were going to watch that game.
My daughter is definitely a VFL. She wanted to watch the Tennessee game even by herself rather than the Aggie-Andy game. I couldn’t talk her through fixing the issue over the phone, so I drove out, fixed the TV issue for her and made it back home in time to start the game an hour late.
(Had to come back home as my 18 year old would get into trouble unsupervised...not that I care, but per my wife it would be all my fault) damn aggies 😂

My daughter is great! 🤠

My son Is basically an Aggie 😳
This seems to be a pattern for you.

Shi Smith liked to do a lot of talking after each play he made. Then, as our defense started making plays, and stopping him, they talked back. You could tell that trash talk started to rattle Smith to the point his players and coaches had to pull him back a few times because he was about to get handsy. I’d like to see us do more of that.

If I’m not mistaken, I think he even had to be taken over to the sideline to get him to chill out & hush. He was very mouthy last night
