What a crap take in an attempt to be provocative.

Having to deal with contact tracing is not casting it as a bogeyman because it actually exists. And yes, as much as we hate excuses, the entire season has a huge asterisk next to it. The good thing-- will Pruitt actually use contact tracing as an excuse? No, when has Pruitt ever used anything as an excuse? He'll acknowledge issues, but he's not going to lean on them like Butch or Dooley did. He's from the "still gotta suit up 11 players" school of thought.

Yes, and the reporters constantly asked him about how Covid was affecting the team. It was usually the first question asked. Sometimes the first few. Now he wants to spin it as CJP calling it the bogeyman and using it as an excuse.

I think Gray will be really good as long as he can stay healthy. Chandler hasn't impressed me. CFA is off the roster. Dee will need to help a lot. But yeah personally I don't think JG will be any better than last year.
Yeah, I love Gray. Hopefully he’s gotten stronger.

Chandler is what he is. So is JG. Expecting anything different from those guys would be naive.

Going to come down to turnovers and redzone efficiency.

I can’t keep up but just heard AP say pope won’t play next week and might not play any this season.

Sorry if that’s old news as the last I heard he was back

All my monies are going to a no kill shelter when I kick the bucket but that's just my jam. I'm all for charities that do real work, not so much the ones that are "finding a cure" but are actually just corporations with substantial overhead and a payroll a mile long. If a cure was actually found, the machine would cease to exist, can't have that.

Any word on Tee Hodges injury and if he’ll be ready to go for the season opener? I feel like he’s probably our #3 back, so would be nice to get him some carries in first couple games in case he’s needed in a bigger role at some point this season
Way VQ’s podcast paints it, Beckwith is a big factor in that candidacy.

(Not factoring potential COVID issues opt outs and missed practices)

Offense Prediction

OL: A ... Great depth. Elite talent. Very experienced.

RB: B+ ... Questionable depth. Good talent. Moderately experienced.

TE: C ... Little depth. Questionable talent. Little experience.

QB: C ... Moderate depth. Questionable talent. Little experience outside JG

WR: B+ ... Moderate depth. Great talent. Little/moderate experience

Summary: QB, QB, QB. IF we can make the easy passes and do not throw interceptions we have a top 5-6 SEC offense. OL has no excuses. JG should have time to throw, and RB must stay healthy, but should have holes to run through. We will badly miss Pope at TE. High ceiling newcomers at WR.

Pretty good take! Okay though, you do know we have a Defense as well, we don't just play offense, this isn't the PAC-12 LOL... Lemme see what your thoughts are on our Defense right now... Our line is up and coming with a lot of talent, but otherwise I think we are solid front to back...
