Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

If you are going to take up arms against a foreign invader, who is going to lead you nitwits? Maybe you think you will go solo, who knows but you will need leadership and coordination with our own military? Now if you feel like your automatic weapons even the playing field against our government then you are seriously mistaking.

You remember our colonial army screwed around with British (the world power at the time) for a few years up in New England, but when the Brits decided to go south and take a trip up through some different territory they got their butts kicked as much as anything by militias of good ole southern mountain boys.

Be specific on BLM.

Again the National Emergency was declared prior to March 24th. The public was informed. The public was not deceived by Trump. Fauci at the same time in February is in the record stating Covid was not going to be a big problem. Fauci was part of the medical professionals advising Trump. You lose again. Give up.
Trump was trying to deceive the public, and he was making an argument to Bill Hemmer of Fox News on March 24th that was disingenuous. Per his interviews with Woodward, Trump knew that the Coronavirus was more deadly than the seasonal flu, and yet, Trump asked why we had shut down the economy for the Coronavirus, when we don't do that for the seasonal flu?

Whether or not you are dumb enough to believe anything that Trump says ... is up to each individual person. The point is, Trump was was making arguments in bad faith before the American public. Trump knew that the Coronavirus was more deadly than the seasonal flu... and yet, he still publicly compared the two, and then reasoned that we shouldn't be shutting down the economy for the Coronavirus when we don't do that for the seasonal flu.

You have proof of all your claims, I gather?

Nevertheless, why has the CDC not publicly protested if what you claim is so? Weren't peoples' lives at stake? Certainly many in the CDC would have and should have come forward, no matter the professional consequences, one would think? If they did, I must have missed all of them, and that's entirely possible.

You mean like how this administration and the GOP welcomed whistle blowers past and present? A long line of decorated career professionals can attest to how they get treated under this regime.

“ you nitwits “ is very telling when talking about taking up arms against a foreign invader . Can’t say as I blame you from a self preservation position though . Friendly fire would be a real threat to you after about two days of listening to you complain . You are probably safer just hunkering down by yourself . 😂

Read it and it doesn't say what you claimed; particularly the part I asked you about. It does jibe however with what I suggested of bottle necks at CDC.

It doesn’t mention the first bolded section, but it certainly does the second one.

The point is the CDC falls under the executive, and their failings are owned by this administration and the people appointed to run these agencies.

LOL. I'm not doing anything but using Trump's exact words against him. The fact is, what I said was true. Trump told Woodward that the Coronavirus was more deadly than the seasonal flu in February, but then over a month later Trump compared the Coronavirus with the seasonal flu while doing a town hall on Fox News with Bill Hemmer. Trump wondered aloud why we don't shut down the economy for the seasonal flu, but are shutting down the economy for the Coronavirus. Trump was favorably comparing the seasonal flu with the Coronavirus... his interviews with Woodward reveal that he knew better than that.
You are fixating on one phrase and ignoring the other phrase. Cherry picking and missing the context when you do. Deliberately misrepresentation IMO. Shame on you.

Bad Faith , absolutely not and your point is rebutted by Trump in the next sentence. You want it to be bad faith because of obvious Trump bias but you look more foolish arguing the same points that have been discredited over and over.

There is no context to miss. Per Donald Trump's own admission during a recorded interview with Bob Woodward concerning the Coronavirus, Trump said that he was "playing it down".

Yes, it was a bad faith argument. Trump had told Woodward that the Coronavirus was more deadly than the seasonal flu in February. So, when Trump compared the Coronavirus with the seasonal flu while talking to Bill Hemmer on March 24th, he was making a bad faith argument. Trump knew they were not the same. Yet, Trump still wondered why we were shutting down the economy for the Coronavirus when we don't do that for the seasonal flu? For Trump to make such a comparison in that moment was completely done in bad faith. Very dishonest.

to not create panic. Plus the National Emergency had been declared. They supersede his
Misspoken phrase or word You cannot take the word “downplaying “ without the phrase “ to not create panic”. This is where you are disingenuous in your criticism of Trump.

You are dishonest in cherry picking Trumps actions and statements.

I love that you want to say that it was "misspoken". Trump hasn't even tried to claim that. Trump has said that he was "playing it down". There is nothing wrong with taking him at his own word. You are going to some absurd lengths to defend something which Donald Trump has already admitted to.

That was before the invention of the guillotine, safety lock, parachute, bifocals, circular saw, cotton gin, and gas lighting... things have changed a smidge.

For the reason of ____ ?? . Fill in the blank, come on , you can do it.

He quickly abandoned his 1A argument citing technological advancements didn't he? But I'm sure he will stick by his guns.

It really doesn't matter if it was to prevent a panic. On March 24th, Donald Trump went on Fox News and made a bad faith argument before the American people while "playing down" the Coronavirus. Trump compared the Coronavirus to the seasonal flu and then wondered why we were shutting the economy down for one, but not the other? It was very disingenuous. This was the con man in Trump coming to the forefront and it wasn't very smart. Trump should have known that Woodward would make those recordings public.

I mean, I have pride in the colonial rebellion too, who wouldn’t? I’m just not under the illusion that things wouldn’t have turned out different if we had M16s and the British had Predator drones, Abraham’s tanks and Apache choppers.

The point is the CDC falls under the executive, and their failings are owned by this administration and the people appointed to run these agencies.

There's a large difference between your claim that the WH/HHS thwarted the CDC in their efforts (if anything the article shows how HHS Sec continually pushed CDC to do it's job) and saying that the CDC screwed up and because they are exec agency the buck stops at the POTUS. If you'll scroll backwards in your thread I acknowledged the CDC screw ups and said if you want to blame Trump because it happened on his watch so be it. You made a baseless allegation that you recognize now your source doesn't support and in fact refutes.

None of this absolves the governors for their role in responding to the pandemic and the large chunk of the burden they bear (the original point I was responding to).

I’m not arguing that anyone is absolved, people are dead. My original point, though, was that the failings at the federal level handicapped the state responses... all of them.

where are you getting this and what do you mean by front line? How many employees do you think it would take for the Feds to be the front line?

What does "investigators" mean and what are they not investigating?
He thinks we live in a bigger nanny state than we do

I have all the facts or actions Trump took it March. Which part of the actions I referenced were not true? The public was always in the loop and informed by the administration of the deadly consequences of Covid. This is election year BS by the liberal left.

😂
