Orangeslice13, a blessing to those around him…..Again

I found a new Bible I'm going to order next week when they send me a coupon for free shipping. Lulz.

I read The First and Second Book of Adam and Eve this week. Couldn't put it down. Again, Im so glad I'm able to read these things with the mindset I have. I was telling my pastor about it, which he was against in the first place, but he's very interested in our conversations about it and seeing what I'm getting from it. It's definitely an experience. I'm not sure if I any thing in it is true, but it doesn't matter, what I do believe is true probably is. Lol, if that makes since.

What I mean is, one thing I got from it is Adam and Eve loved the Lord more than anything, prayed all the time and and he loved them. If what was told that gave me that impression is just a made up fairy tale, it doesn't matter. But it's probably the Truth.

A question I've wondered forever has been answered. I know it's probably not true, but the Bible doesn't teach against it, it makes sense and it doesn't matter either way. I'm good with that and God is good with me thinking it.

Anyway, just thought I'd share that.
Just based on the Adam and Eve story from Genesis, I believe Adam and Eve loved God thoroughly, but like all humans are weak to temptation. I don't know what your question was, but glad you've found an answer. I hope your preacher comes around and appreciates the knowledge and information you are gaining. I'm with @Orangeslice13, more information is always a good thing imo.

Preacher man isn't against it anymore, I didn't explain that part of it well enough. He's looking forward to my next reading so I can tell him about it.

Yea, I guess I'm doing a terrible job explaining myself here. I too believed they Loved God thoroughly from reading Genesis, but the story was about the equivalent of 40 Bible pages, it got a little more personal.

Of course more information is a good thing, but this is different in my opinion.

I battled with it, but it ultimately came down to being led to scripture. I retained alot of information but my bottom line is...

Deuteronomy 18:10-13
Leviticus 20:6 and 19:31
Isaiah 8:19-22
Isaiah 19:3

I don't believe God allowed Samuel and Saul both to sin, and that's what it would be.

@Behr
This made my freaking day.
Love the use of Torah to define sin and to form a belief.
Well done, Achi

If I was of a mind to travel to your neck of the woods, Slice, knowing my fondness for back roads, I'd likely wend my way to TN317 to TN153 and travel the surface streets from there, unless you recommended a stretch of TN319 as being more direct. Well, we'd likely meet in Chattanooga proper for refreshments, first.

If you take 319 to 153 you will have passed me by the time you get to 153. I actually live 45 seconds off of 319.

How is Red doing?
We are actually in the middle of a setback.
We go to Vandy soon.
The liver cancer is still in remission and the Lyme isn’t much of an issue other than the damage already done.
We are not exactly sure what the new things are so......🤞

She’s been through more than her share but she’s a fighter. Way tougher than I am.

I am sales manager for a metal roofing manufacturer here in middle TN.

Do you still support Boyd Buc football?
I still watch it. Boys both graduated so I’m not as involved anymore.

I’m seriously considering a bardominium on my property. That’s why I asked about the metal building
