It sounds like the 14 day rule is an SEC one so all schools are under that protocol. However, Pruitt has been at other places and knows how they operate. We’re apparently following the rules to a T, but there is no way of knowing what others are doing. That’s where the perceived disadvantage comes from.

Nobody is going to lose when your team scores 29 runs. This Braves team has offense - power and speed. Their pitching struggles. Snitker struggles to manage the bullpen. That's all.

It also is nice to have Albies back in place of Slowhan Camargo.

It’s crazy when you look at the Braves’ drafts, too. Pitcher, pitcher, pitcher for a decade. I know they’ve had injuries and a bunch of guys are still young, but still. It’s pretty frustrating to get hyped about guys like Wisler, Blair, Newcomb, Touki, Wilson, and Wright only to watch them get hammered when they make the show.

Despite improved competency in recent years, there remains an element of little Napoleons in UTK. It needs to stop for the good of the students and university. Work together, don't be little dictators drunk with power. As an example, anything required and administered in excess of CDC guidelines on COVID-19 is overreach. Full stop immediately. Use reason and don't violate personal liberties granted by the Constitution.

Volatil and I both highly supported Ty Chandler's recruitment. He was a QB in HS. He had to learn how to be a RB in college under Botch. He was thrown into action before he was fully developed and has suffered injuries since that stalled his progress. This will be the first year he is really ready to go and healthier. You have not seen the speed he possessed in HS because of all of that. When you have to learn a new position you think too much in the first year or two. This contributed to the injuries. It will be interesting to see what type of RB he is now. Regardless, having him and Gray to split the bulk of the carries is a wonderful thing.

Good news--- sounds like we have HB and JT pushing JG for a starting position. That means our QBs are developing, which we haven't had in several years.

I don't know what to make of this BS of SEC teams apparently having different Covid/Quarantine rules per state, it should be obvious and agreed upon before they started practice as to everyone being equal. If true, this does create a huge disadvantage... after watching Navy, UGH...

Hell, maybe we keep the quarantine guys together in the indoor facility and they have a separate practice, but still going full speed and adapt practice drills to their specific position group? At least that way they are getting work?

Cade Mays' Attorney Provides Update on Appeal Process

Interesting the attorney said they submitted a "request to reconsider"...so maybe we are actually doing a Reconsideration first and will still have a full appeal attempt in our back pocket. Though this would fall on ncaa staff to work, unlike an appeal. Though according to Deerpark, they apparently will still be working cases during rotational furloughs...but who knows how quickly.

Or maybe that was just his choice of words.

I was just messing. Managing the pitching staff is the biggest issue, IMO, for every manager.

He was a QB in HS? Really? Max preps says he threw 2 passes, 1 his SR year and 1 his JR year, both incomplete. I thought he was Mr. Football in the state two years running as a running back. I guess I got bogus information. I'm not surprised. I don't trust most information sources I come across these days, only what I read in this thread. jmo.
