I will be 100% honest. I have paid more attention to the stock market thread over the last month than the football threads. I'm struggling to get excited about this team.
That said, I read a tweet that Collin Hill has looked very good this fall and could be on the verge of being named the starter. Any truth to this?
//
Then we are in trouble. Bad things are going to happen if this is true!! He is barely recovering from his surgeries.
//
There's been a rumor out that Hill will be named the starter against UT. But that may have been to motivate RH. Word on Ryan is that coaches would like to see more dedication from him.
//
Since Muschamp has been here . He has recruited 5 4star QBs , and the Colorado state transfer will start.
//
Yeap especially when two of those 4 Stars are WR’s now. Mind blowing
//
The only significant comment that I have heard from CWM, other than Hill and RH are battling is that Hill has a Sunday arm. And obviously he currently has a leg up on this offense since he has run it. RH is smart so he will catch on quickly. Both those dudes and probably Doty are going to be needed in this crazy season.
//
Remember last year at this time Muschamp said he had his best team and we finished 4-8.
//
I'm hoping for the best but when your gameplan for winning in the SEC involves importing talent from Colorado State...I could see that being insufficient
//
This cannot be stressed enough, and should scare more people than it apparently does.
//
Hill has made 7 more starts in his career than Hilinski and is coming off his second major knee surgery. This isn’t like we are seeing Peyton Manning competing with David Carr.
//
Coaches go with familiarity. Muschamp like to run the ball, ball control, Bobo knows Hill. Simple. I would rather they play Doty at QB for experience. If Hilinski is not the answer we need a running QB. This is a throw away season.
//
Everyone keeps going on about how much of an advantage he has b/c he knows Bobo's system. His stats in Bobo's system at CSU weren't that great. Pretty pedestrian.
//
First year in new system, offense is bound to struggle. Thus, Hill and Prentice. Hopefully with them playing the offense can have success in year 1, which would be a rarity for any new offense.
//
And lack of playmakers makes our wish of a strong offense almost impossible. But it doesn’t have to be great. Just stay on the field. Flip the field. And score about 25 pts. a game would tremendously help the defense.
//
Will Muschamp, Mike Bobo still 'working through' South Carolina Gamecocks offensive identity in training camp
//
Hope the coaches can figure out our identity soon.
//
I am also still working through this, with my therapist
//
Just get rid of Muschamp and lets start over.
