I hyped them up one summer before the season. That was the year they went 9-4. Other than that I don’t really think I’ve had much positive stuff to say other than occasional info I get.

I did think they would upset us this year before covid threw a wrench in things. Now I’m back to thinking it’ll be a loss IF (emphasis on if) our guys continue to miss practice. Not much time left and we got a lot of guys out
I appreciate your insight there. You are closer to the program than most of us and have a better feel for their program.
Dookie tho

👀👀👀That's awesome also!!!!!... But Texas, USC, and FL ST???

Totally agree. Texas has “talent“ that gets their asses kicked whenever they play a real team.

Since they won’t play Texas A&M anymore, let’s play them every year in The Battle of the UTs. Nationally, it would be considered a marquee matchup. For us, it’s just another cupcake that looks like a hard game. 🤠

We are actually over 50% right now with 48/85 players being blue-chips. The issue is that in the past all of the outside analysis on the BCR didn't include transfers for multiple reasons (prospects being overrated initially, transfers generally having less time to acclimate to the schemes, amount of time it would take to include transfers, etc).

So really there isn't enough concrete analysis on teams that have achieved a BCR higher than 50% due to transfers. You are right that we will meet the conditions to crest the BCR threshold after the 2017 class falls off for recruiting classes, (assuming that people from the 2017 class don't remain on the roster in this year of free eligibility), but if someone were to be the first below the BCR threshold to win a NC it's much more likely for it to be a team that clears the BCR threshold "unofficially" by taking in highly-rated transfers.

As it pertains to our team, our BCR doesn't include Cade Mays, Deangelo Gibbs, Brandon Kennedy, Aubrey Solomon, and likely doesn't include J.J. Peterson and Bryce Thompson ( the last two were such late additions they weren't initially added to the classes on NSD if I recall correctly).

Unfortunately, our team may not include Gibbs regardless of capacity...🙁

From what Rob Lewis said today Knox Co guidelines and contact tracing has us limited. He said JP was pulling his hair out cause schools like Bama and UGA aren’t under the same requirements. They test people who’s been in contact but from what I understood they don’t have the 14 day quarantine rules we do. I came in late to the segment but that’s basically the gist.

Someone can check out the podcast to confirm.
