To this, I only have to say that a reporter from Fox News has spoken with two sources who confirmed important details of the story which ran in The Atlantic. You can not with any credibility argue that Fox News has an anti-Trump agenda. Your only other option is to argue that those two sources are lying. I do wish that John Kelly would go on the record (if it's him... and it seems like it is). I do believe that most Americans would take his word over Trump's.So you're telling me that six members of the Trump administration heard these remarks directly from Trump, implying that he said this to a pretty wide and varied audience, yet no concrete proof of these statements exist and it took over two years for anyone to say boo?
What a likely story!
How shocking that Trump wouldn't just come right out and admit to this two months before an election.(These sources, and others quoted in this article, spoke on condition of anonymity. The White House did not return earlier calls for comment, but Alyssa Farah, a White House spokesperson, emailed me this statement shortly after this story was posted: “This report is false. President Trump holds the military in the highest regard. He’s demonstrated his commitment to them at every turn: delivering on his promise to give our troops a much needed pay raise, increasing military spending, signing critical veterans reforms, and supporting military spouses. This has no basis in fact.”)
Has this been addressed?
There is plenty other to pick from instead of picking this hill to die on. He may well have been glad he didn’t have to go. But people are on the record not frigging “anonymous sources” saying Trump didn’t make the call. You’re just being stubborn.
You are a joke. McCain was a million times the man your hero Trump will ever be. Anyone who defends Trump calling fallen soldiers "losers" and "suckers" loses whatever shred of credibility they have left and proves that you have truly sold your soul to the devil just to try to keep your party in charge. Disgusting. There’s no source.... it’s total BS hyperbole. Trump did call McCain a loser.... and he was right.
If John Kelly does ever go on the record, these Trump apologists would immediately attack his credibility. Call him a liar and defend Trump. These people don't really even care if it's true or not.You are a joke. McCain was a million times the man your hero Trump will ever be. Anyone who defends Trump calling fallen soldiers "losers" and "suckers" loses whatever shred of credibility they have left and proves that you have truly sold your soul to the devil just to try to keep your party in charge. He very proudly called him a loser
To be fair I thought John McCain was human filth when he ran for president. I would not have pissed on him if he was on fire. Should I now think he was a great human being just because he died?
I’m pretty sure you agreed with me then and right up until it became political for you not too.
Trump is demonstrably the most pro-military President we’ve had in decades. Hasn’t wrapped us in more foreign conflicts. In fact it’s the opposite. De-escalation with N Korea, and brokering peace deals in the ME and Balkans. If Dems actually had any principles they’d praise him for it. Instead they try to scam people with fake news in coordinated political hack jobs. Disgusting
