Georgia loses starting QB for 2020

You guys are fast. I just came over to post this.

Would Georgia fans accept Justin Fields back? Before you call me crazy he was seen at the UGA scrimmage this past Saturday: Justin Fields watched Georgia’s Saturday scrimmage from the stands. With Ohio State currently not playing Fields may want to go back. Ask me how pissed I will be if the NCAA approves that transfer while Cade Mays sits in the wings.

But he left bc it was a hostile environment and thats why he needed immediate eligibility. So he goes back?

Jaws, just for the record you are a Gator fan.... Just for that you would really, and I do mean really have to work on me to like you as a human...
However, your words are very true. I like them a lot!

You still suck Gator tail though...

GBO!

To know me is to love me. 🤝

Your half-dozen or so comments attempting to absolve Pruitt of any responsibility for that loss say otherwise.
My comments weren't directly related to Pruitt.. If you think the loss was related solely on Pruitt that's your opinion.. I think the loss is related to several things, coaches and both sides of the ball for various reasons. Neither one of us knows the extent, we weren't on the field or the sidelines or in the locker room.. It was a loss and the coaches and team built on it. GoVols

Exactly. I was just about to post about Justin Fields at practice. The timing on the Newman announcement is strange and I wonder if he was going to lose his job to someone else.

I love this thread. Actual, spirited football talk!

I just want to point out JT Daniels tweet on July 13th.:

Thank you to the NCAA for granting me immediate eligibility and allowing me to play football this fall. I will not comment on the waiver or transfer, but look forward to a great 2020 season with my teammates.

Cade Mays however......... I really hate the NCAA.

In all seriousness, they’re installing a new offense, without a spring, just lost what was supposedly their best QB, their next best QB is injury-prone and not medically cleared (or just medically cleared), and behind that are scrubs or true freshmen.

Florida and Tennessee need to kick their asses this year. Period.
Gator or not, someone pass this man a drink.

Our defense is good to very good. There's is a notch above ours. They may have the best defense in the country.

They have multiple 5* RB. We have 1 guy that may be a difference maker and a bunch of JAGs (Just Another Guy)

At this moment, Pickens is a far better receiver than anyone we have (one of the freshman might change that). We may have more depth but they have the stud.

If you ask impartial observers who has the better coach, they aren't saying Pruitt. It's a results driven business. Smart has taken a good situation and took them to the next level. An impartial observer will realize that Pruitt inherited a mess; however, they will realize that Butch inherited a similar mess and Pruitt and Jones have had similar results the first 2 years.
Kirby is a lil b!tch with a Wal-Mart haircut. That is all.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if they accepted him back. That said...Mr.Feilds, come play for the team that wants to wtfa against the team that spurned you!

WTH? We won there on JJ s catch in 2016! The 2020 version of the Vols is better than 2016!

The point I was making was we havent beat UGA in Athens in the past 30 years when UGA was the significantly more talented team....

We were the more talented team in 2016 and it took a miracle + Kirby choke job to win.

Nothing to add I just have to post this gif whenever the '16 game comes up:

It makes me smile.

Before we get too excited, UGA has the better defense, better backs, better receivers, better coaching and JT Daniels is better than JG. Plus, they get us in Athens. Our best chance is UGA will choke a game. Might as well be against us.

Hell, Mary.

Agree with most of what you're saying except the coaching part.

They were in 2016

I'll let Vegas answer your question about 2016 UT vs 2016 UGA talent

We had Butch Jones as head coach, we were on the road, and we were still favored by a FG in 2016. We had more experienced talent (although they did have some good young talent). Either way, they did not have a huge talent disparity in their favor.
