Yeah from what I read, Newman was clearly better in practice, obviously they hadn't declared him the starter, but that was to keep both engaged. Daniels isn't fully cleared to play according to Smart. He can practice though, so it probably isn't a huge deal. Blaylock is out for the year, he was probably their second best behind Pickens, possibly third behind Demetris Robertson. Obviously switching offenses during this offseason is not ideal. I'll say this is probably the worst their running backs have been in quite some time. Still a solid group, but they don't have star power like Michel, Chubb, Swift, etc. Wide receiver outside of Pickens and Robertson seems to be not great either. All this is in addition to losing 4 starters on the offensive line.
I don't see how any of that could lead them to a better output for their offense this year. Not saying they won't be good, but I don't think the offense is going to be a strength.
