Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I'm not positive, but what I gathered from the radio this morning and a couple of news articles, the EO Trump issued in August instructed CDC to study the effects of evictions on spread of the Rona and take appropriate action. I'm not certain that's accurate but its my understanding.

Edit: CDC says evictions cause people to move into "congregant housing" or multiple families/groups in one dwelling and facilitates the spread.

The CDC has way too much power and influence

If Trump loses the election what will Biden/Harris do at the 1st of the year. They cannot kick the can down the road forever.

Good question. At some point this will have to be dealt with. Most evictions usually wind up with the landlord not getting their money back, but this is adding up to at least 4 months.

Does the landlord lose their property? Most likely they do not own the property outright plus the owe taxes and insurance.

Just to be ornery. How can anyone be upset at this, everyday we force medical professionals to provide services to people who can’t pay. Shelter is much more important.

I dont know how it works with docs. Maybe one of them could tell us how much free work they are forced to do. I know a lot of docs (and other professions) volunteer time, but I don't know how compensation for the uninsured works (except that the uninsured pay more than the insured for the same procedure sometimes).

Here is what gets me with the numbers. If the average deaths in America over the past few years is about 7600 a day. You are going to tell me for the past 6 months without Covid, we would have 5500-6500 deaths a day. Something doesn’t add up

Ya think? This whole thing is a ploy the Dims cooked up to steal the election.

Indigent care is usually reimbursed by the government in some form. If the government wants to get in to the sugar daddy rent paying business then by all means. But just shafting landlords because muh rona is an awful precedent.
