Let me say what most of us have said many times by now: nobody here thinks Trump is a Saint. Most here do not love the guy either...but he has been a very effective president at getting done the things that are important to us...and America's future. We know he is flawed and many times a blowhard...he is also a red blooded Patriot that loves this country and his job.

Right now, since Biden has broken the trend that has existed for DECADES if not centuries, of MOVING BACK CENTER after the primaries to attract many millions more people....since he has actually moved FURTHER LEFT and embraced the full on socialists, the BLM felons that burn/loot/murder our country...he has moved so far left that he will not even give details about most of his positions because he knows he will lose more moderates. He is so far left it is unprecedented in a US presidential election . At this point, sadly to say this, any socialist that aligns with him and his beliefs...I honestly feel like we have absolutely nothing in common except where we were born....and i have no desire to even discuss politics with them. Look at the Dems booting DeBerry after more than 30 years of service ...because he condemned burn/loot/murder and said that we had to stand up for America and not be "punks"....so what did they do to the voice of reason saying what ANY SANE person should say....they booted him. Wow....

THAT IS THE DIMWIT PARTY TODAY...how can any responsible adult that is both mentally stable, and able to think and rationalize at an adult level..(I know)... tough standards there...how can any rational adult honestly look at that party, endorsing BLM, Antifa, socialism, and unwilling to condemn violence and other felonies committed by their mobs of degenerates....how can ANY rational adult support that? Say " yep...these guys are brilliant . Dems have it figured out"...as EVERY major city which they alone have governed for decades has long since become unlivable cesspools that lead the country jn murders and shootings every weekend???

How do yall ignore ALL THAT SHTUPID in one party? How can you actually tell people that you support that garbage? I know the answer for Ktown...he is a blatant racist with a brain the size of a peanut, and all of his thoughts are filtered thru the lens of " i hate white people" so the burn/loot/murder gang is actually the highlight of his entire life...but what about the rest of yall? Where is the disconnect...." muh, Trump hurt my feelings one time ". That is worth turning your back on all that you know is good and just? On having respect for people and their property? On the Capitalism that made this country the most powerful nation on Earth?

Which racists? Has nothing to do with conservatives making anything “trend”. I’m pretty much right down the middle. Has everything to do with black people trying to tear down other successful black people that see a better way forward. And why? Because they don’t subscribe to the Democratic plantation mentality? OMG!! The horrors! And I’m not determining anything for anyone. It’s also funny you want to determine what Tim Scott, Herschel Walker, Kim Klacik, et al should be offended by. They’ve done that for themselves. You don’t get that say either just because of your skin color. Your “everything is racist” lens jades your perspective. There’s always going to be racist people, black and white. Look beyond the racial lines dude. It’s not healthy, it’s sad. But you continue to LYAO if you wish.

So...gunfire in Kenosha last night. Two dead.

Bound to happen, so it was just a matter of who and when. I had it at 80/20 that it would be civilians instead of LE, but I also have it at 50/50 that sooner or later, one of those activist idiots is going to fire at the police, at which point things are going to get very, very ugly.

Had an interesting conversation with an old sheep dog who is a lot wiser than I'll ever be. He was a State Trooper for almost 30 years, and to this day he is remembered and revered as one of the best to ever wear the badge. As gentle a man as you'll ever meet, but he has zero tolerance for what he affectionately terms "horse poop".

He was talking about the riots, and pointed out that by allowing them to go virtually unchecked, politicians are setting a new "normal". He said that at some point order will have to be restored, and that when that point is reached it will be much more difficult, and much more physical to put a stop to the rioting, since the agitators are now accustomed to being allowed to riot virtually unchecked. He referenced other cities...and there are a few...where the initial rioting was quickly checked, and noted how things have remained relatively quiet there ever since.

He thinks it's going to get worse before it's over, and I'm afraid he's right. I've known him long enough to know that he doesn't waste words, and when he does speak it's a good idea to listen.

Nobody wants the images of the 60's...the fire hoses, the German Sheperds, the billy clubs...to be seen on our streets again. Well, nobody with an ounce of humanity in their heart.

And that reluctance to act early and decisively is possibly going to result in things much worse than getting knocked off your feet by a fire hose. There are just too many potential flashpoints out there right now to ignore that reality. If events continue on their current trajectory, someone is going to make that critical mistake. A shot will be fired. And then another, and then another. And then.....

I hope I'm wrong. I'm worried that I'm right.

That a very logical way of looking at a problem . I agree . I would also add that the longer it is allowed to go on without being stopped the more prepared people in every state will be on both sides of the issue , the ones wanting to push and be active and the ones wanting to just be left alone to go about their lives . I’m afraid there’s an anger building in the ones that want to be left alone and those are always very dangerous people .
