Classes are gonna get cancelled in a couple weeks anyway. Cases are about to spike big time. Just keep that Sept 26th date and let the student athletes stay on campus when everyone else has to inevitably leave.
Now that's playing chess 5 moves ahead!

Though it still won't happen because of illogical "optics".

Case numbers don't matter in the college age demographic because they are largely asymptotic or only have mild symptoms

Virtual schooling is going to be an absolute disaster across the board. A small percentage of students with stable home lives, stable internet connections, quiet places to study, and plenty of self-discipline will be able to handle it properly. The rest won't.

How is the NCAA going to address transfers? And scholarships/boarding/meals etc?

What do you mean, "boarding, meals"?

Think they already said scholarships are guaranteed. No changes will happen with transfers at this point imo. Grad transfers though...open season for them.

Numbers are gonna spike, but watch the impact on hospitals and medical resources. I doubt that’s going to change significantly to be honest.
I’ve said the shut downs were BS from the start. Now we are going to see why. I think the Flu mixing with Covid is where we are gonna see a lot of problems and we didn’t get herd immunity across the country. How will people handle both viruses at once? Will people who had covid be more susceptible to flu? Will people that have had covid have more severe symptoms when they get the flu? Don’t know the answers but they could have a major impact on hospitalization and death rate

Dunno but since the symptoms are about the same people are going to be getting hit with both tests. More money for the hospitals

They fit in everywhere with the SEC, except Geography. But mizzou doesn’t fit in geographical wise either, so I’ll take that trade.
Mizzou fits as much as KY does, in fact, I'm all for only those south of mason dixon and east of MS river being in SEC and screw the cornhuskers !

And I’m no doctor, but I believe getting a flu shot could help with the Covid situation. You could still get it, as always, but it could help mitigate it.
