It was a political move to keep Europe from helping the confederate states. It's why he waited on making the Proclomation.

It's hard to argue you are the great emancipator if you wait until after the single bloodiest day of the war, more than a year into it, to bring up the "real cause" you are fighting for.

I'm voting for Biden. Hopefully he steps aside after 4 years so his VP will get elected.

I don't understand the need to point out that if Biden is elected and at some point his VP has to assume the reigns that it will be a "black lady." Is that a valid reason for not voting someone??

Not my point and you know it.

So here is my point and I will make it more clear....

The Potus cant do a damn thing other than protect federal buildings when the actual Democrat governor and mayor tell him to stay out.

It's a states right thing you may of heard about.

There are stop gaps that he could issue to give him power but then liberals like yourself would start yelling how he wants to make himself king and here is the proof.

He was ready to send help to any state who wanted it and ALL the dem states said get the F out.

Hence, due to state rights, he had to stay out.....except for protecting federal building which agsin really pissed the libs off.
