Yeah, PJ... who would volunteer for a test, especially when we didn't have enough to try tracing anyway? How soon you forget we couldn't even test nurses.
Invoking the DPA at the end of April, really helped increase the chances of contact tracing being a reality... because nobody would have agreed to participate if Trump would have invoked it sooner, which actually would have made it possible.... But nobody would agree anyway without martial law or some sht...
Your logic is flawless
Our rights have to be protected for a reason. You're doing quite well at demonstrating whyYour assumptions remain the same, therefore it wouldn't be possible according to you. We might as well forget vaccines while we are at it.
You know what else wouldn't make it possible? Not having the tests available to do so until after Trump made his grand reopening guidelines, which he didn't mind anyone ignoring before then anyway.
Why bother doing anything really, since you can't make us? This is your ultimate logic.

We did plenty. We erred completely on the side of caution and shut it all down. We now realize that wasn't necessary yet you're still on the blame Trump train. If he was a better communicator this could have been avoided. If he and the media weren't adversaries this could have been avoided. They are all to blame
No, This particular discussion was not born out of blame sharing, but out of denying that Trump could have done "anything legally" to have made a difference.
Hog said there was "nothing legallly" he could have done to make a difference.
If you believe that too, then we do not agree, apparently.
Good thing people don’t do this with Trump huh?I wonder how the millions who lived free instead of under German occupation feel.
I wonder how the millions who were employed through his programs and able to feed their families feel.
You take the narrowest view. It's like saying General Neyland was a horrible coach and following up with:
Talk to the players who were kicked off of the team.
Talk to the assistant coaches who were fired.
Look at all the games he lost that he could have won.
Check with the players who got no playing time but were better than the ones actually playing.
What's your estimate on how long it should have taken to produce a viable test? How should Trump have sped up the science required to do it correctly? You evidently have much more confidence in his cognative abilities than I doDefine date of outbreak... define how many tests were available 30-45 days after that date. Otherwise you are just stating a timeframe without any meaningful data.
You have had ample opportunity to provide some examples of what he could have done and all you come back with is testing.
You still haven't answered how that can be done legally and effectively besides "cooperation"Contact tracing... You know the thing that makes it possible for the virus be contained. Which can't be done without enough tests.
And according to you, Trump couldn't have made happen more quickly, without being called out for lying.
