Question, have you been working during this entire pandemic? Traveling from different states, eating in different places? Staying in hotels?

Because I have. During the entire pandemic. Guess what, I’ve never had Covid-19 and I’ve been in some of the worst hit states to include Boston, Massachusetts; Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, D.C.

This crap isn’t as bad as it has been made out to be period.
It’s fine that you can say that, anecdotally. It’s not science but your experience is legitimate.

It is a simple fact that you cannot expect college players to go to class and cohabitate with the rest of the student population and for them not to get this virus.

And while you may say even if they do get it it’s not serious, fine, but how many deaths would be too many? Because the stats say there would be *some* if we play and bring students back to campus.

We can lament for a “return to normalcy” all week want but it’s not going to happen this fall.

Think big picture Ulysses. Sometimes one fall is worth it for a better system and a breakup of a monopoly. The current monopoly favors the elite. Those on top now will stay there. Competition is good. The NCAA needs a challenger. Then the honesty and integrity will return. I get you’re an emotional poster. Stop and think.
Chaos will never work in our favor. It will just be a free for all disaster.

So, it’s okay if they die at home but not okay if they die at college trying to get their education and play a sport they love. That’s interesting.

Also, these athletes want to play. If they don’t then they don’t have to. The schools are still honoring their scholarships.

Most players take online classes and live with teammates. Most players feel safer and are safer in team environment than in any other situation. They want to play.

Gods sakes man. have some humanity. It isnt always black and white. Life is complicated, there are other factors other than how you view this. other, divergent opinions hold merit.
God sakes man..have some common sense. This is the biggest overwrought, overdramatic load of horsecrap ever foisted on humanity. Every word he said was truth..you are just one of those too blinded by fear to acknowledge it, and you are too invested in supporting the horrible knee jerk reactions to ever see how stupid they were.

Covid 19 is here forever..it is never going away, and you are going to contract it at some point in your life...you really wanna destroy our way of life to try and forestall that for a little while?

We needed to be careful, but this nonsense has to stop before everything good is destroyed.

All I know is that if teams in whatever conference that have their conference cancel on them want to play that they should form some type of independent conference or be absorbed into a conference that is going to go ahead with the season and figure it out from there. JMO. But one conference shouldn’t decide the outcome for all teams in said conference.

Eh, all these conferences know it’s a pipe-dream at this point. The Big 10 is offering what should have been worked out months ago; a uniform plan the entire FBS should follow.

Spring is the best option now. And the sooner that’s realized and planned for, the better off we’ll be when we get there.
Covid ain't going away by spring, it ain't ever going away..period..so what is the freakin point?

So you send them home to what environment? Better one? Less risk? Being home with 3, 4, 5 family members coming and going is any less of a rick then staying and playing?

Rest assured, if college football is cancelled, there will be no collegiate sports this year. This is more than football, it hangs many, many sports programs in the balance nationwide.

It’s time to fire back against the fear mongerers.

Honestly only big colleges will survive. Small colleges are going to need bail outs from the federal /state governments and taxes are going to go up in the future if this happens
