Social Media and Mainstream Media have made us a nation of hand wringing drama queens. Certain segments of our population are using this and anything else they can find to tear down our country. Teachers Unions don't want kids back in the classroom. Why in the hell did you become teachers then? Let the kids go to school, let the athletes play. Take precautions, but for God's sake STOP making this generation of young people afraid of everything and professional victims. Some of our friends who take an opposing position say this is bigger than football. I AGREE. An entire generation is being placed in danger, and practically none of the danger has to do with a virus.

Gods sakes man. have some humanity. It isnt always black and white. Life is complicated, there are other factors other than how you view this. other, divergent opinions hold merit.

I would say the end of the ncaa is a good thing

Not really. Its going to create unrealistic expectations.
It will either create a system where schools basically bid for recruits.
Or it will create a minor league system where kids skip school thinking they are good enough to make it to the league, and when they are not they aren't going to havw an education or opportunities to fall back on as if they had gone to school.

In other news, it’s Sunday in a golf major championship, and has been an extremely entertaining round. As many as 6 players tied for the lead on the back 9.

What’s been grand: no politics, no fear mongering, no rona, no cancellation, just sports and high-level competition.

You missed this Tweet that said SEC not moving toward canceling just a few pages back. But the why everyone falls inline and no one stands up for anything anymore I wouldn't be surprised if they did cancel it. And the stats are improving. Just don't get it.

Eh, all these conferences know it’s a pipe-dream at this point. The Big 10 is offering what should have been worked out months ago; a uniform plan the entire FBS should follow.

Spring is the best option now. And the sooner that’s realized and planned for, the better off we’ll be when we get there.
