I mean do you honestly believe those statistics with the money hospitals and doctors are getting from the government everytime they report a case?...this whole thing is much bigger than death tolls and new cases

Basically. He’s just as robotic. They also have no one at RB. If our secondary is really good we will crush them defensively.

AU is gonna be pretty good. Steele will always have them playing good defense. Pruitt knows gus’s system though. It’ll all depend on how Nix is

True....but why is the NCAA getting millions upon millions as they should be coordinating this mess. Frankly, this might be a silver lining with the end of the NCAA.

They won’t, Sankey didn’t go through all this backlash over the schedule just to cancel the season. It’s all conjecture and most of these writers have no stories to produce so they are writing fairytales.

Lets be honest...the MAC cancelled football because they're losing a lot of money from not being paid to play power 5 schools for the non conf. It also not cheap to keep having to test the athletes and staff for covid throughout the season. It's about the money guys.....a little bit about covid....but mostly about money.

Its all about money. Which is why I think they play. Too much money to lose

I was listening to Dori and Mel on ESPN radio when this story hit. It seems that the Northern Illinois' President is an infectious disease expert. They were starting a meeting this morning of the MAC Presidents to discuss all their options when she supposedly stood up and said she had reviewed the scientific data, there was no way they could prevent some of the athletes from catching the virus and that the scientific probabilities were that some of the athletes who caught the virus would experience post-infection long term health issues. She then said that UNI was not playing football this fall regardless of what the conference as a whole decided to do. Evidently all the other Presidents then caved in. Season over unless they can play in Spring 2021.

So when players go out to parties and go out to clubs they won’t catch it? The data is flawed. I get what you are saying but the virus does not pick and choose which event it wants to go too, only the host can do that. It’s not the fact that I want college ball although I do it’s the fact that life must go on. Infections happen, deaths happen and we can’t prevent something that’s going to be around for the foreseeable future.

I think this boils down to liability also. I agree that the players are likely safer in a more structured environment during a season. Hope that they can figure out some way to have some football this year.
