That’s why I am an independent..... both sides tend to be a hypocrite to an extent and are just like they are on teams instead of free thinkers.... I tend to agree with conservative policies and I’m socially liberal to a point.....Right now the democrats scare me more with some of their policy ideas

In order for there to be racism... there needs to be an antagonistic element. Not all acts of discrimination are necessarily racist. This is why Affirmative Action is legal.

You have served up antagonism and then motivation. Subjective items that let people like you be the arbiter of if and when.

To hire someone and say they must be black, is literally racism. Just doesnt work well with your coddled narrative.

I've seen red hats argue on here that Biden is prejudiced against both blacks and whites.... unless he is square with Latinos and Asian Americans, I guess he is screwed?

No, it's not... unless you are saying that whites are inferior based on their race. Motivation does matter. Also, the definition itself specifically says that racism "typically involves a race that is a minority or has been marginalized". That wouldn't include whites, would it?

Racism: prejudiced, discrimination, or antagonism directed against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or has been marginalized.

Motivation does matter. Are you trying to be inclusive (especially of those historically excluded) or exclusive?

Motivation matters... is your policy one of inclusion or exclusion? It matters.

Let's say you own a small business and have the capacity to employ 10 people. The first 9 people you hire are white... so you decide that in the best interest of cultural diversity that the 10th employee will be selected only from a pool of your best black applicants... while that next hiring policy is being discriminatory against whites and could even prevent the most qualified applicant from being hired, it is not racist. You are being inclusive, not exclusive.

I have always thought that democrats made/make a mistake be reacting to everything trump says.... most of the time it made the Democrats look bad instead of trump making himself look bad....now I feel that way about Biden.... just shut up and let him talk as much as possible
