Of course it is. Using Hitler as an example of voters gone wild is an extreme example. Yet holding up a crazy person committing a mass shooting as evidence that the 2nd Amendment should be rolled back gets done all the time.

We shouldn't stop voting because some people voted for Hitler. We shouldn't take away guns because crazy people commit crimes.

Nothing wrong with a bunch of people that support one candiate hanging out at polling places with their guns. Its just not a good look for the candidate, unless that candidate is the Republican, in which case a sizable portion supporting that candidate only would see it as freedom.
