A doctor is also not going to prescribe a treatment that they do not believe is medically sound, based solely on your personal desire to be given that treatment; it would be wholly unethical and illegal to do so.

Yeah cause doctors would never over prescribe someone based on their wishes and we dont have a painkiller/opioid crisis in this country because of that....
