Did the NBA or NFL go on strike when MLB did? MLB just has to figure it out first. Gives NBA and NFL time to learn from mistakes and do it better.

BTW Catbone, my glass is always full. Just a varying amount of liquid versus atmosphere, but always full.

Be a VFL and fight for the good outcome. Don’t piss and moan all the time.

Hoping for the best expecting the worst 👌

It’s a movie where people take a vaccine and turn to zombies.

Jonathan Edwards volunteered to take the smallpox vaccine and died from the vaccine.

Hate to be pedantic but it's more like vampires than zombies. The books ending is hands down one of my favorite endings. It's way different than the Will Smith movie. I haven't seen the other movie adaptations. They are older. The book was written in either the 50's or 60's. Alright, nerd rant is complete. Ha.

The movie was terrible. I barely paid attention.

So, six cases out of 150,000 were counted incorrectly? Or are you on the team that does the data collecting and therefore privy to behind-the-scenes info on this subject?

Because if you are just getting “information” from a tweet or some other kind of media-driven platform, then I’m not sure why it’s any more reliable from one outlet versus another.

If you are, however, part of the government team collecting and tabulating these numbers then I stand corrected.

I truly hope death numbers plummet soon and we can resume more normalcy and start arguing about JG vs Harrison Bailey, or whether Banks should be a LB or RB kind of thing. 👍
Do you remember the day NY reported their highest daily death count? There were thousands of cases they counted as Covid deaths that they didn't even test. They said those people had symptoms consistent with Covid, and since they couldn't keep up with the testing demands, they would go ahead and count them.

The numbers are not accurate.

Been trying to avoid ***** talk, but since it could have major repercussions for football this week, here it goes. I'm hoping they (SEC) don't go overboard this week based on the current hotspots, when they could all be trending the right way by this or next week...and could all be resolved (as hotspots) by kickoff, if their boom and bust cycles are similar to the early hotspots.

Going back to the original big hotspots, NY and MI, we seem to have had a pretty reliable time cycle for the surge and decline, which is looking consistent with current boom areas. ~4 week surge, dropping off by at least week 6, and back to pre-hotspot numbers by week 10.

Now here are the current major hotspots, mostly all starting around the 2nd to 3rd week of June:

Meaning their 10 week mark will be around the end of August or early September...just in time for football. Similar for TN, though we surged slightly later in June, so we could lag a week or 2 behind.

Hopefully Birmingham is considering these quick hotspot cycles.
