Culinary, Arts, Thread.

I knew what you meant and you kinda answered my next question. Anthony Bourdain was one of my favorites. He was intense, probably why I get Ramsay.
I've heard my wife echo similar sentiments on that.
Ramsay gets on my nerves.
A few years ago, a couple of students printed out a pic of Ramsay and put my name on it. HAHA
Edit: That's probably not fair to GR, because a lot of things and people get on my nerves.

u also dont eat anything from what i can tell
Being serious here, the only thing I can get with someone liking BBQ spaghetti, a person likes pasta and likes BBQ and like to eat them together. What does the BBQ add to the pasta and vice versa? I really am curious. Just because I am picky in my eating, I do know what something is supposed to taste like and what goes together.

I wonder if I will make it to a day where I don't have to work.
You will, but not as desirable sometimes, it’s sorta like “can’t wait to move out of your parent’s house and be on your own”. When you get there, you appreciate that time, more and more as get older. Hope that made sense.

I'm curious. What kind of restaurant did you have, or was it multiple restaurants?
The last one I was partners with and ran and brokeded my heart was The Lighthouse Waterfront Restaurant. They changed the website and it doesn't have any good pictures, but if you're interested there's some if you Google.

Lighthouse Waterfront Restaurant - Dining, Live Music & Special Events

The one before that, that I help build and designed the kitchen, and Slice has been to was Snug Harbor Waterfront Restaurant on Ft. Myers Beach.

This was the old one...

This is the new one. It's now Nervous Nelly's or something else by now.

I looked at some of the pictures. One linked to a write-up in a boating magazine. When we used to go to the coast, we always enjoyed dining by the water. My cousin and her husband in Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda used to go to Fort Myers quite a bit, I think. She doesn't cook much, so they might have been to one of those. I've only been through there one time (probably late 80s), but I remember going to Sanibel/Captiva and walking out on the pier there (very clear water). I don't remember where we ate that day. It's clear from some of the advice you give on here that you really do have a passion for cooking and quality food.
