Same way with sous vide, I'm old school and there's no way either one of those new fangled contraptions can do better than what I can do without it. Lol. And more so with sous vide than the air frier, it seems like cheating to me.

Its important to me that "I prepared that". I didn't put it in a bag and throw it a tub of hot water until the timer said it was done.

I agree completely on the sous vide, and I am not a good cook so I should want that.

Preparing a meal is fun, it takes that away.

After I posted that I realized I should have said "almost anything". I miss my mom and Behr and.....but besides people, anything.

I miss everything about it.

I said it the day I heard of his suicide and I mentioned not long ago. I thank God for not letting me end up like Anthony Bourdain. I obviously didn't have his money or Fame, but I know exactly who he was.

Everything about it was a drug.

I knew what you meant and you kinda answered my next question. Anthony Bourdain was one of my favorites. He was intense, probably why I get Ramsay.
