I agree to a point..... my favorite players have always been the Vince Coleman’s and Rickey Henderson’s.... stolen bases are slowly going away..... I also hate that they got rid of contact at the plate

Yep... moving runners, base running, putting pressure on the defense is a thing of beauty.

Baseball lost a lot of me during the steroid era....

I completely agree with Coonrod and I firmly believe that there are a significant amount of people in America who feel the same way. This stuff has been difficult to grapple with because I personally do feel that All Black Lives Matter and that there are some very fundamental things that need to change about Black Culture and the Black Community in order to see true progress happen. Unfortunately BLM and other things that spawn from it are not the answer. This current turmoil is going to be just putting another coin in the merry-go-round as politicans are just toying with the Black Community to secure their vote in November.

It truly saddened me for the game I love to be taken over by this crap yesterday. Sports are here to be a break away from all that's going on the world, not a constant reminder and shove in your face of political banter. The more that political banter is shoved in your face during sports the more people are going to start looking away.

Bristol Mayor Branded ‘Not Really Black’, ‘Traitor to the Race’ for Removing Illegal BLM Statue

The Mayor of Bristol has revealed that he was branded “a traitor to the race” and “not really black” after an illegal Black Lives Matter statue was removed from the plinth formerly occupied by Edward Colston.

Mayor Marvin Rees, the son of a black Jamaican father and a white British mother, had said that “what is installed on [Colston’s plinth] must be decided by the people of Bristol” after London-based artist Marc Quinn illegally installed a statue of BLM activist Jen Reid performing a Black Power raised fist salute on it.

Not a fan of juiced players, juiced, bats, or juiced balls, but I do appreciate a legitimate long ball. Unfortunately, MLB has taken steps to enhance that portion of the game through illegitimate means.
