2020 Presidential Race

I won’t be voting for either major party. I have my issues with Jo Jorgensen, but she is neither horrendous nor despicable.

Can definitely understand why anyone can't vote D or R in these last 2 elections. We have to build a bench of better candidates for the future. Not sure that is happening.

We need Biden (no I won't for him) because then R's will oppose some spending, at least. **** is out of control with Trump and no spending opposition in congress

I agree with you Huff about the spending, but now it's way too late. Hitting the brakes will just postpone the inevitable because there is no way in hell that we will ever climb out of this deficit.

The Democrats are going to jump on the Modern Monetary Theory bandwagon which says govt debt doesn't matter. Biden already selected one of it's most vehement defenders to be an economic advisor.

Biden's Mask Of Moderation Has Finally Slipped

Biden's economic policy task force includes Stony Brook University Professor Stephanie Kelton as co-chair. Kelton defends a heterodox school of economic thought known as Modern Monetary Theory, which claims that governments can spend freely without regard for deficits. In other words, she's supplying the theory that will supposedly wave away any concern about the $46 trillion ten-year cost of Medicare for All—or the trillions of dollars the Green New Deal will cost.

Democrats and Republicans have both been on there a long time, despite their rhetoric
They definitely spend excessively, but I don't think it's on the level we can expect if they actually put this into practice.

I've believed for several years now there will be no attempt to balance budgets or pay down debt. The govt will continue to spend as they have until there is some financial crisis they can't bandaid. Then they'll just attempt to pivot the fiscal/monetary policy to something else and hope the world tags along. MMT might be it. I don't know. What we're doing now isn't sustainable. The politicians know it, yet none are addressing it.

I think I’d rather vote for a piece of barn poo than a brain-damaged pedophile.
Have we forgotten which one of these candidates was bosom buddies with Jeffrey Epstein, and once referred to him as a "terrific guy", who liked his women to be "on the younger side"? And who also just said "I wish her well, frankly," when asked a question about Ghislaine Maxwell - who was basically Epstein's madam?

Apparently you’ve forgotten whose name showed up on the Lolita Express flight logs and whose didn’t. And you’ve forgotten who kicked Epstein out of his property when made aware of his aberrant behavior. But I’m guessing you don’t want to draw attention to that? And remind me how many accusers named either individual being referenced here?

🤡

What flight logs was Biden on?
