I made jokes about him having the gun pointed at her..... right at her upper torsohttps://www.stltoday.com/opinion/ed...cle_fc44a15a-98c5-560a-a4da-ce988ae947f0.html
The greatest danger the McCloskeys faced during the brief encounter was from each other as they wildly aimed their firearms and exercised minimal trigger-finger discipline. At one point, pistol-wielding Patricia McCloskey walked right in front of her husband’s assault-rifle muzzle. At various other points, he aimed his rifle directly at her upper torso and head. At no point in video footage did protesters appear to step on the McCloskeys’ property, keeping a distance of 25 to 30 feet from the mansion.
lmao
It is. Prosecutors that charge without merit should have ethics hearings. Prosecutors works for the people to bring justice. Acting despite the laws is ot justice, therefore, not acting in the best interest of the people.
She is wrong. They were posing a threat when they broke down the gate. From the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:
"In a statement, St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kimberly M. Gardner said, 'It is illegal to wave weapons in a threatening manner at those participating in nonviolent protest, and while we are fortunate this situation did not escalate into deadly force, this type of conduct is unacceptable in St. Louis.'"
If they hadn't pointed their weapons at people, they wouldn't have been arrested.

Yep. I ask this: Why is it OK for Government Officials\Leaders to point guns at anyone that breaks through their gate\barrier(Governor Mansion, White House, Embassy, Military Compound, etc) and not a private citizen? All are secured premises. A threat is a threat. The "protesters" were trespassing. DA is going to lose bigly on this political stunt.

He cannot be this dumb...
Exploit your workers as much as you can, and hoard all the profits for yourself. Fire enployees that speak of unionization and worker safety.
The second your marketing department posts a black square on instagram you officially become communist!
Oh, Amazon changed the corporate logo to pride colors! I guess that means they are leftist?
Sadly this is what many conservatives unironically believe. People are now conflating cultural identity politics with economics as being one in the same.Guess there's no choice but to heavily tax Amazon as punishment for its Marxism![]()
Can't tell if serious.
This is ANTIFA and determined to do damage. NOT a peaceful protest.
Please tell me you are joking with your comments.
I was referring to our acting Director of homeland security characterizing Amazon as "LEFT" per his tweet. Someone thinking that ANY mega-corporation could be in any meaningful way, "leftist" is moronic---he is in trump's cabinet for a reason I suppose.
Did you not get this? Nuance/Irony really is dead. So, for all the folks who can't stop thinking in binary terms: being "socially left" doesn't mean they're economically left.--- i.e., Amazon changing the corporate logo to pride colors or Amazon's "performative" gesture amid the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests. This does not denote leftism ---this is about market share. Again, VN always seems to conflating cultural identity politics--which the vast majority of corporations are embracing-- with economics as being one in the same. To be clear Amazon is not economically "right" either ---they are basically integrated with the government and enjoy the benefit of tax gifts and winner take all hypercapitalism. Bezos is the king of the Neolibs.
Anyone remember when people got upset about how some looters took $100k worth of stuff from Walmart a couple of weeks ago? I bet you that Bezos made that amount in 3 minutes. ....oh....Bloomberg - Are you a robot?
What is you definition of a looter?
