Trump is the POTUS, living in heads is pretty expected - given his influence. Also you see TDS as a pejorative - I (and many others) see it as a badge of honor.

When some on the right felt the same way about Obama (disregarding the birther nonsense and secret Kenyan hoopla) they were labeled as “racists”. LG once insinuated I was a racist because I dared to disagree with teleprompter Jesus in economic policy, particularly in the very early days of the Tea Party movement before it was ruined by Jesus freaks and conspiracy nutters.

These are two distinctly different concepts.

The POTUS words carry weight, whether you agree or not. All of them, not just Trump, what they do, the things they say...

Don't conflate that with TDS. Having TDS isnt a pejorative in my opinion. Believing Trump sucks at his job (and at being a decent human) puts me in the majority. It doesn't take a lot of courage to point that out, doing so and subsequently being tagged with TDS isn't the put down the Trump nut huggers pretend it is.

Maybe "TDS" and "rent free in your head" shouldn't be used a catch-all for anybody who opposes Trump or one of his decisions. It makes Trump supporters seem like sycophants.

At a facility I worked at.... a patient that lived there and could fake it really good like a lot people can was still doing people’s taxes in her 70’s The person was incontinent and could not pass any cognitive exam.... she could fake it though to where you could not tell how far she had declined.

Another example was an employee of mine.... you could see obvious physical decline and I had to have someone help with the physical demands of the job.... She could fake her cognitive decline extremely well until I read her evals..... They were a mess including her having goals for the patient set lower than the patient was capable of doing on the day of the eval.

TDS means you're a rational human being. In 10 years all the trumptards will either be ashamed of themselves or starting an Aryan Brotherhood charter.

Recognizing from the beginning that someone is a horrendously despicable human does not mean they are "living rent free in your head".
By the way, anyone using the term "rent free in your head" is clearly showing that there is an infestation in the unoccupied rental space in their head. It's almost as cliched as "moving the goal post".

What I hate about being a healthcare professional..... we signed off and got trained on wearing masks, gloves, and gowns with every patient..... we were told it would be cross contamination if we didn’t discard them every time we left a room..... cost too much money/ equipment..... then we were trained on wearing the same mask all day long but no gown.... gloves not as important if we washed our hands..... then we went to gowns with every patient we were in contact with for five minutes.... too much money ..... so now we wear the same mask all day long but with a face shield.

I keep looking at the science and it seems half-baked. It's mostly comparing to Asian countries and places that were already hit hard and we're going to see decreases anyways. The other stuff are things like fluids models which mean little for a virus that's submicroscopic. If this is spread via asymptomatic people, then it's likely aerosol which the mask will do nothing to stop.

There's a reason everybody was in agreement masks are not needed for the general population just two months ago. And there's a reason they've all taken 180. It's not science, it's fear mongering. If we do nothing and it goes away, it'll make the lockdown look stupid. They have to be able to blame conservatives.
