I love meat, and I love that it is affordable, and I will fight anybody that tries to take that away as hard as anybody that tries to take my guns.

On a side note that this made my feeble think about..so many "enlightened" people bitch that there are too many people on the planet (maybe rightly, it is getting really crowded) but then the same people bitch about epidemics that do what they are supposed to do...I don't understand that.
Fingers crossed for lab grown meat scaling up and progressing. Or some other solution.

I enjoy meat too. But then there are the factory farming abuses and issues, methane pollution, shoot we have million of tons of pig shiz here in NC regularly contaminating our rivers and environments.

Plenty of negatives to the current system I'm sure we'd all love to avoid.

All of us are misinformed. You can cite one thing and then it will either change from the same source OR another reputable source will say something different.

Get your news from primary sources. AP app or Reuters app. BBC is pretty good and so is The Economist magazine.

Know that CNN, Foxnews, MSNBC, Washington Times, WSJ, NYT, etc. all have an angle to their reporting. Enjoy lounging with those you appreciate their angle. But get NEWS from from primary sources.

Russian farm troll accounts imo

But if we are talking getting info from Facebook...it would be 40 and older. The Olds use Facebook...it is like their new way to pass chainmail around to each other.

40 to 20, the Mids, get info from twitter.

20 and below, the Youngs, hmm...tiktok? Or probably something still a secret to the Olds.
What am I considered if I don’t get my info from any of those sources?

Not to mention a few nuclear power plants.....

Every human on the planet can fit in Texas with their own 1,000 SF box. I understand crowding has more to do with resources. But we’re a smart creation and the balance of those resources is not good right now. We have too much, others have too little. That can be fixed. People who harp overcrowding want to keep killing babies in the womb.
One really flawed argument I have seen is overpopulation causes starvation and hunger. In reality, there is enough food for every human on earth to eat 2,200 calories a day. Starvation and hunger are largely manmade and due to human decisions - free markets and wealth inequalities.

I can’t help but be leery about a long-term deal with a RB. But Derrick Henry seems different, he is what makes the Titans different for sure. And that’s where your money should go. So I’m happy to see this.
Spot on. I'm torn, but I can see others wanting to play with and for him, he is that special. But like you said...RBs long-term...idk. Bit of a gamble, but that is good to see from the Titans. They need to learn to take risks more often jmo. To the bold go the spoils.

Are you saying free markets create starvation?

Also, Covid hit close to home this week. My friends wife tested positive this week, and they were at our pool last week. Only reason they got tested was bc they were at a bbq the eve before for a friend that was leaving for deployment. He tested positive upon arriving in Texas, but felt fine, no symptoms.
Back to my friends wife, she’s positive, but they’re 2 kids and he tested negative?!?
Our friend on deployment that tested positive, the rest of his family tested negative.
If this “virus” is spread so easily...how can a husband and wife doing adult things not spread it to one another?!?! Serious question, I’d like to know.
Adult things? Like what? Washing the dishes?

What I am referencing is growers in 3rd world countries, that could help to feed entire local communities, often sell to high buyers in Europe and elsewhere.
And our potato farmers dumping tons and tons of potatoes into pits because their restaurant demand has decreased decidedly. Could we not get that product into hungry hands?

I can think of many causes for those circumstances, but it’s difficult to say much about it without an example. Perhaps the holodomor in Ukraine. At any rate I don’t think it would be reasonable to blame it on free markets.

Test and monitor aggressively. I like our policy on this. It doesn't do a damn bit of good to bury cases by only testing sympomatic players or only testing one time. We're talking about human lives here and first and foremost if we are telling these young adults that it is safe enough to come back to campus or to leave home for the first time in their lives then we have to do everything in our power to make that so. We all know there's no risk free area during a pandemic but we can do our best to make sure our areas present the least amount of risk possible.

One of the best TE’s in America is transferring and if you recall recently VQ said UT might take a grad transfer TE. Price just said don’t be surprised if UT kicks the tires here...

It happens every cycle with good players getting overlooked but it's usually not this extreme. How does a guy who could be the best TE in the CFB right now get so overlooked the first time around? Was this one of these guys who just grew after high school or what?

EDIT: I googled - he was determined to be a QB instead of a TE and that's why he went to CMU. Better late than never on the switch because he's a monster at TE now.
