Then they better mass produce an effective medicine quickly or there's no defense against this virus
Yes. Though imo no more quickly than if herd immunity had been a real "out". We are at roughly 1% infected using reported positives...even if the real number is 10x higher, that is 10% after about 5 months. Getting to 50, 60, 70+ percent appears to take a long time, longer than a vaccine appears to be expected/hoped for. Unless we want to go full potato and have government mandated COVID parties lol...but again it seems like it may be a moot point now if these studies are true.

We need more research on this imo.

More studies saying antibodies are short term. Herd immunity is an illusion, it is starting to look like.
So we really do need to throw learned immunity right out the window? Maybe it’s not too late to get a refund on my degree since they peddled that nonsense. It does make you wonder what the point of a vaccine would be tho. I’m in the shut-it-all-down camp now.

Not 100%, not at all. But there are degrees of usefulness. They are saying the stronger the symptoms, the stronger your body responds with prolonged antibodies and more effective the learned immunity. But it appears limited.

Ie if you got it and were asymptomatic, then your body doesn't respond nearly as much. I think we we were relying on those "50% asymptomatic" cases to get us to earlier herd immunity...but if their immune responses were hardly anything, what good does that do?

As for the vaccine, yes that is their big focus now. How they can make one that triggers a bigger, longer lasting response. Alternate approach is getting a couple shots a year.

The methane released from cattle has been an issue for 20 years. It’s actually massive lol but I’m surprised this is being addressed now and by Burger King of all places. In the current climate it just seems bizarre. 2020 has gotta be one of the weirdest years in decades.
Trying to capitalize on their Impossible Burger. But good for them, truly. Less factory farming side effects, the better.

sativa or indica? Looks like a sativa.
Most likely hybrid, indica dominate, I prefer. They are really getting away from that as more science is suggesting that actual terpenes are the key for each individual. Where as something that works for you, will notwork for me. I have had this happen on alot of strains I have got, that my friends like it but it does nothing to me. I hate any purple, I have yet to come across some that does the job. I like skunk, orangey, the best for nite time. And fruity notes during the daytime.

So the vaccine would need to be worse ( as in illicit a stronger response) than the actual virus itself for most people? I recognize that you could argue that the vaccine would be made available for specific demographics; however, I’m skeptical that there won’t be a demand for mass vaccination, holding the economy hostage as the guarantor of compliance.

On the real right quick - how is what Devo posted about herd immunity any different than what I posted about herd immunity when you told me to stop throwing out what Catbone said bc it didn’t fit what I believed about the situation?

What gives brah?

I just prefer energy buds.

Because favoritism. Jk. No one shoot me. I’m merely stirring the pot.

...I was going to say that.
But seriously it's how he says it. Devo says it in a way that is here are my facts take it as it is. With Marco I read it as this is my info and that's the only real information available.
My own interpretation of how I read both posters.

Those numbers are high like mine, but the big difference is my 6-8 Gleason numbers were in 10 sectors vs. your two. It's why the urologists recommended surgery for me. It looks like your doctors have caught it early (I was 69).

My neighbor Curt, who is my age, had high numbers in only a few sectors also, and he went for radiation in El Paso with NO surgery back in 2016. He has had low PSA numbers since then, and like me he has been healthy since his treatment.

So I'm optimistic about your situation (pending bone scan & CT scan results, which are negative hopefully). You'll love the bone scan - you get to lie absolutely motionless for about 60 minutes while you slowly move into and through this tunnel. Still sending prayers your way for a full recovery!
Thanks. I’ll take all the good examples I can get.

"People don’t seem to understand that, if done properly, you don’t throw together a waiver request in a few days. What’s more, most schools I’d been working with were waiting to see whether the Legislative Council would pass the one-time transfer without penalty in May."

"Andrew Donovan and Adam Tate at Tennessee compliance are among the best in the business on my one hand shortlist.”

Excellent. Eating cow is one of the main contributors. Their daggum methane is killing the layers. Still surprised no big pharma has come up with an anti-gas medicine for cattle.
Pretty sure engineers have created a system that basically helps cleanse air pollution. Can’t remember what it’s called. But apparently it works to some extent.
